A lot of nonsense checks like the door closing and so forth. Also, your in-cab is the way I do it, but I see some testers fail everyone who does not built up maximun air before checking emergency valves. You did a good clear explanation.
What's funny about driving is that when you're doing the job, a pre-trip inspection is more about safety than going through the motions. For example, before you start your trip, what would you check on the truck to know you and others will be safe on the road. This video is really good at covering the basics, and what they'll do at this school is break down why you would check all of those things. Trust me, it's really good to know, and it'll get you through any test or DOT inspection. Are you all in or near the Greenville, NC, area?
