This type of recap is a great idea, thanks for it! I wasn't born until a month after them winning the gold. So I clearly couldn't have experienced this when it happened. It's pretty sweet being able to watch it with a commentary that makes it feel like a live game.
l remember this time, I was 13. This Dream Team is a great souvenir for so many people across the World.

Iâve watched a few of these Dream Team games the past couple of weeks and itâs almost shocking how much better the Americans are. If you took every player on the Dream Team out of the Olympics except Bird, he would still be the best player in the tournament even at that broken down, busted state of his career.
This is awesome. The quality of the resolution and the quality of the commentary and selection of highlights. This is a great idea and it was done so extremely well! I'm glad I stumbled on this channel. Thank you for this trip back in time. I was only 10 years old with basketball dreams of my own (haha), and watching this team play was mind-blowing. I remember my coach using their unselfish play as a lesson, telling us that even with such great talent, they played like a true team; and the greatest team ever assembled.

It is cool to see my dude Eddie Casiano. play against the best. Eddie played High School ball in a Indianapolis, I remember catching an elbow or two from him in practice. We all knew he was going to be something. He definitely was good enough to play in the league.

Not to mention the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan or Operation Desert Storm, which had just ended then. Maybe you just didn't care... unfortunately since the end of the Second World War there was not a single day of peace on planet earth.

Wow! I finally get to see the '92 Olympics. Thanks. Didn't own a television in '92. The USA struggled much more in some of those games than I had assumed, before always pulling ahead. Croatia actually led, briefly, during the first half of the gold medal game. Some of it was careless play and some of it was rough play by the opposition just to slow down the Americans any way that they could.
Not struggling just not very interested.They played at about 40% and still beat their opponents by 40.
