Northern Pacific Railroad Depot Museum, Wallace Idaho Gets Ready for a NEW Season in 2013

The 2013 Season at The Northern Pacific Depot Museum in Wallace, Idaho opens with "DEPOT DAYs, Classic Car Show" on May 11th, 2013. On April 10th Shauna Hillman was appointed the new Executive Director. This does not leave much time to do a massive 'scrubbing' of the 100 + year old building...or to paint it,...or to plan ALL NEW Displays, updates to the old ones, and to make this Museum the BEST RR Museum in the Northwest!! Railroad Buffs, Mining History Buffs, and Western American History enthusiasts are in for something really special here in Wallace! I am lucky enough to be filming a documentary with the Historic Wallace Preservation Society and thought I would string together a few clips and have a little fun with it. A serious documentary covering the depot and it's history is coming soon. For now, just wanted to show my friends and youngest daughter hard at work trying to get this thing accomplished! Hadn't seen this structure before. That style of brick was short-lived for some reason. I've never seen it on a depot. Am I correct in noting that I-90 was barely squeezed in behind the building and was one of the last links of I-90?
