- Today we're going back to one of your favorite series: Abandoned by Disney 5! We're looking at 3 different things that were abandoned by Disney, some of them had a happy ending, and some didn't! I remember watching Splashtactular on the Disney Channel back in the early 90s; but didn’t remember exactly all the details or if it even existed. After seeing this video, now I can confirm it existed (both at the parks and on tv), as well as the show’s premise.

6:15 - Wow, never seen the Monorails travelling side by side in the same direction before. That would be a cool site to see. That and also seeing them going at high speeds through the Contemporary like Bob Gur said they did before they opened to guests!
The monorail at Monster Jam, though creative, is very upsetting becuase a piece of history was destroyed. Also, I would have totally bought that monorail.
I had nonclue about the splashtacular show at EPCOT. Had never seen heard a out it before it. Wild!! Also so pumped Walts plane is being refurbed & displayed again!!

I remember that monorail in Vegas. Didn't use it but I remember seeing in its first incarnation probably in 1999. Funny to think those trains were the same kind or could have even been the same ones I rode back home in Florida going to Disney. I also remember the commercials for that Epcot show. It was weird looking.

That sucks that giant dino animatronic is gone/assumed destroyed at this moment. I can understand why keeping that animatronic behind properties might be a challenge with its scale and recycling it would be kind of the same. The only other way I could see it being saved is if it was used in the time traveling dinosaur ride in the park as part of well hidden head. That would mean most of its chest and upper portion would be cut off, but the rest would be useable. It's even possible that's where it could have ended up later to save money, but would be harder to prove. Still, I'd rather disney try to re-use most of their creations if possible or put in a museum rather than destroyed or missing or in some cases in a private collector's hand. It's better to show and preserve the magic then for it to be lost forever.

Speaking of the Mouse airplane, I remember seeing that at Disney's Hollywood Studios, then known as Disney-MGM Studios back in 2002 during the Backlot Studio Tour and later in 2006 in the back of Lights, Motors, Action!: Extreme Stunt Show (which closed in 2014, demolished in 2015, and the site is now Millennium Falcon - Smugglers Run for the park's Star Wars Galaxy's Edge section).

You may not see this, but do you know any information on 1998's Flower and Garden Festival in the UK area? Random, but you seem to always know about very quick random moments in Disney history. Years ago I bought a board that has a blueprint / concept of a Winnie the Pooh outside garden attraction. When trying to look up information on it in the past I've always wouldn't be able to confirm if it actually was created, or not and if so, did they make any changes? I've only asked about it once in the past, because on it says it's not to be photographed (for obvious reason) and since I'm miss. goodie two shoes I never took a picture of it and I feel like there may be a potential that people would obviously ask for a photo I cannot give. The one time I asked I didn't really get a response, so wondering if you knew anything about it, or if anyone else in the comments might?
I only knew it was for the festival and the year since luckily that's how it's labeled on the board. If you do read this, or anyone else that's into Disney history, or attractions, I will try to give a little more info that might help in finding information:
