- Here's the first of a few videos I will (probably) be putting up from a show I played in LA as a NAMM show kickoff event. I played with both the Faceless as well as Lee McKinney that night, so you will (probably) be getting some content from that set as well!
Audio is straight from the board, with a little bit of EQ/Compression thrown on in Logic afterward. There were some very strong gates on the toms and snare, as the mix was catered to the live room. Because of this, I lightly blended the snare with a sample to help some of the notes that weren't coming through - because of the gate - pop. We also didn't have any overhead/cymbal mics set up, so unfortunately some of the sounds get lost. Given all of this, the mix sounds pretty good in my opinion!

Great playing as always, but( I'm just being honest)... I'm surprised you're still with them. All the shit that happened, all the people that have quit. If Keene has it together again, and the band really is back in order, then that's awesome.

How is Michael Keene doing? I know he has had issues in the past it's okay I understand. you to tell him that he is my favorite guitarist & I look up too him. I like his musical compositions and I wish he didn't put bad things In his body because I lost my friend to substance abuse he's in heaven now but if you can give me a little vague update on him.
Alvaro Velazquez I’m pretty sure he has his good days and bad days just like all of us. We just have to be there for him and not ridicule him when it’s one of his bad days. I know how it is being addicted and it’s very hard . Started real young and I’m only 19 now .
