it’s one thing to sleep with your best friend’s ex, it’s another to sleep with your best friend’s abuser. It’s so sad. Cassie let her insecurities and insatiable need to be loved dictate her, even if it means losing everything for a disgusting abusive man.
It happens. Even worse when you try to warn that friend to be careful because he’s abusive, then friend launches campaign to say your crazy, and then friend plays a victim when they get abused and try to blame you for not trying harder to warn them.
@@w3ird0_3 no i know lol but i mean like the scenes mirror each other. cassie flipping out on one side of the door and maddy pounding on the door on the other side
no I think its a parallel to when maddie was crying in the bathroom looking in the mirror after what nate did at the carnival. I think it was mirroring the difficulties that nate had done to both of their lives and how he fucked it up.
It's sad that after this and hearing how hurt maddie is, she continued to be with nate and act as if she didn't just lose everything bc of it, and everything was Maddy and her self respect etc...
The first time Cassie stood in that bathroom and looked in the mirror and fixed herself up, she imagined Maddy standing there and listening to her telling her the truth about her and Nate. I wonder what Cassies imagined this time around.
Ah, real life firsts...we all go through it at certain age. Some have it harder than others. It's the things like that that make you less niave and vulnerable in adulthood once you understand your mistakes/their mistakes and move on with knowledge. Drop the hate and anger in the end though or it'll eat you up inside.
Real life is actually realizing that suffering most oftenly happens for no good reason at all. Most times, you're not suffering because you gotta learn something from it, nor to become stronger, but because you - or someone else - made a decision that damaged yourself emotionally, and that's all.
Lexi had a play depicting everyone. That scene was actresses portraying maddy & Cassie when Cassie was comforting maddy sometime in the past. It just flipped into the present with maddy and Cassie in this current scene

Maybe she's not surprised that Nate did this to her. But she's more hurt and surprised that her own best friend would, so it hits Maddy more with Cassie than Nate.
its worse because cassie sat there and listened to her talk about how much she wants to get with nate all the while fucking him also that her bestie i would beat her too
I wouldn’t say a single word to my ex, but my best friend? I’d be hurt for life I’d say. Reacting just like Maddie. A best friend is something to be treasured, as cheesy as it sounds.
Because Nate could easily kill Maddy. Initially, Nate is not the type of guy you could easily mess with, he is abusive, manipulative and downright cruel. Also, Maddy knows Nate on a very personal level so she probably would love to beat the shit out of Nate but he would most likely kill her.

my heart hurts so badly 4 maddy
Like what?
Maddy deserves better but what has Maddy ever done for Cassie?
Maybe I've missed something but what exactly she has done for her?
"I'm crazier"
-Cassie
"You're a fucking coward"
-Maddy
This was so hard to watch & to see Cassie’s actions afterwards. It seriously makes me want Maddy to trip her when she’s walking down the hall.
fr
Watching Maddy cry breaks my heart 💔
Yes.
Around 1:54 you can tell maddy wanted to hug cassie just by the look maddy had 😕😕
yeah and that bear hug will proceed into a chokehold until cassie is no longer breathing, or will turn into maddie slamming cassie into a brick wall.
Those girls who are so desperate to be loved by a man … they never get far 🤷🏾♀️
is this a parallel to when she was trying to open the door when cassie was w nate?
I think it was when Maddy found out by Rue that Cassie was sleeping w/Nate

Ok this kinda puts Maddy's reaction to what Cassie did in a better perspective.
Poor Maddy she deserves better
Cassie was lowkey miserable that’s why she was crying

I feel though that a lot of Emmy’s noms are going to be from Euphoria this year.

she deserves so much better
Not really. But yeah, it is a huge betrayal
Maddy deserves better the most.
Wow acting is amazing
The later half of season 2 was Sydney auditioning for Harley Quinn
2:49- 3:09 💔 Masterpiece acting!!
I just noticed two people crying in the bed as they was arguing! I never noticed that

Even though Cassie did do wrong, gotta remember she's just as much as victim of nate now as Maddy was/is.
She's no victim she did it to herself she's a hoe
Maddie was like "open the door I just wanna talk" 🤬👊🪓🚑💀
This scene shows why Syd is the best actor on this God-forsaken show. And this show uses the pretty blonde white girl as the sex object.
but what does her being blonde and white have anything to do with it though…
