- Today we have a beautiful 1963 Gibson ES-335 to share with you, in Jay's favorite cherry finish! Block inlays, one PAF, one PAT#, and a late 50's bridge, this excellent instrument sounds awesome to match its look, and plays like a dream. Nick is on the demo again today through a 65 Amps "London" head and 2x12 cab!

Sometimes I don't even worry about the guitars - I just dig listening to someone ham out for a couple minutes.
Absolutely.
Yes, a jolly good passtime.
Absolutely fantastic playing 👏
I’ve been waiting for this demo ever since I stumbled across the website listing! My absolute dream vintage guitar 100%
I have my 72 335 beside me. Yes the neck is thin. Sounds incredible.
Nice one! I'm lucky to have a '64 in better condition. These are incredible guitars.
That is a nice one Jay!
Will never be able to see a 65 Amp and not think of Andy.
Beautiful!
Great job Nick!
great format...creamy playing and beautiful videography
A real Rick Derringer special!
ES-335’s are better than Bursts.
Fight me!
Yes. Gorgeous 335. They snap and growl and do rock, jazz .. the lot.
And the 65 ain’t bad (but I genuinely prefer the tones of my old Vox AC3) one of the best tones I’ve ever used was my 335 reissue from ‘95 into my late 60s ac30 flat out with a compressor and the guitar volumes rolled off somewhat. Exquisite.
That Chucks my Berry!
Chuck berry
Guitar is great! Not so much, the amp.
I will keep and stay with my 2021 Epiphone Custom Koa Era Correct Les Paul over any Gibson does anyone even want a Gibson anymore or even play them..I have read no players don't want them and more and more bands don't play them either but they are playing Epiphone good luck Gibson you're going to need lots of it🤣😅😂😂🤣😅😅🤣😂🤣😅
Agreed 👍🏻
The price is Gibson's downfall. In the 60s Epiphone was considered superior. Today equal. In between?.
Excellent sentence structure !🤦♂
@@dingbatjack1234 what happens when you type things out anyone could have figured that out you got the point all that matters
You need to try yourself a early 90s pre historic or late 90s historic. You'll be amazed at the quality of them. They play better than the murphy labs.
I've refinishing a 08 les paul for a client and the quality is horrendous. Its so bad you'd think it was a fake
