Thank you for sharing Diana with the rest of the world. Diana, a young teenager from Russia who will make you feel things that you will not forget. I believe people that have experienced hardship or trauma in their live can sometimes channel that pain in their singing. Read Diana’s backstory about being neglected, abused and discarded by her mother to the streets at 3. Diana ended up in an orphanage and could not speak until she started to sing. She is able to bring mystery, beauty and empathy to everything she sings. Truly a one in a billion singer.
I love watching your reactions to Diana. Everything she sings, for me, causes goose-bumps or tears, or both. I see you shudder every time and it makes me laugh knowing how you feel. She is really seriously talented and has magnificent stage presence. I adore this young lady and that voice.............

It's really unfair. Diana is the best performer (not just singer) in the world right now. If she wasn't in Moscow and singing in French, this performance would have a billion views. Everything is weighted toward English singers backed by huge Western record labels. You end up with acts like Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus who are using autotune but are still getting awards and millions of views. This song, originally released by Indila in 2013, did not chart in any English speaking country (or even in Japan, for that matter) even though it is a great song. It is shameful the way the music business is today. I hope Diana can overcome this bias toward Western singers. Sometimes a song can have such an impact that it destroys the normal conventions (Psy with 'Gangnam Style'). I think if a major label will release Diana's version of this in the West, it WILL chart.

@@user-cc2td8gr9i Можно просто сказать, что на вкус и цвет товарища нет, но я попробую объясниться. Дело не только в голосе, в вокальных техниках, а во всем образе: в мимике, в жестах, в экспрессии. На наших глазах ребенок создает маленький спектакль, как художник картину. У меня и не только, по коже начинают "бегать мурашки", такая вот непроизвольная реакция. Если у Вас этого нет, то значит, что Ваши реакции находятся в других характеристиках - возможно Вам ближе другой вокал или вообще, смысл поэтических образов .
Я обожаю любую образность - в литературе. музыке. живописи, танцах. Как пример, было такое шоу "Танцуют все" и группе танцоров дали задание выразить в танце картину Питера Брейгеля "Слепцы" по сюжету из Библии. Вы можете в поисковике Ютуба набрать "Танцуют все", Питер Брейгель и Вы, возможно, меня поймете.

I am a Grace Vanderwaal fan and another Grace Vanderwaal fan come up to me an said you have to listen to this girl. Her name is Diana Ankudinova. She forewarned me about her low voice. At first I was taken back because her lower register sounded like a man and her upper register was so powerful and perfectly beautiful. I was enticed enough to listen to her many times until I am now a Diana Ankudinova fan. She is a true gift to universal music.

Some info for you on Diana, she was born on 01/28/2003..After a terrible childhood she was adopted from an Orphanage after she was placed there when found on the streets..He new Mom moved her away from the area and saved her life..Diana won the Russian show You Are Super both the #2 show and then the third where as the Grand prize winner she was given an European and American tour.

Diana is simply one of the best Russian singers ( apart from people like Polina Gagarina) and a couple of her other songs Diana sung when she was alot younger was "Oh Darling", she sung this song when she was about 8 years of age and I think her first time on Russia's "The Voice" she was about 11 and the song was called " Jodel time" it is an absolute awesome performance.... it broke my heart when none of the judges pressed their buttons, but they were very confused about listening to Diana performing this wonderful song.... great reaction too 😀
