Don Kim, that is a nice collection of watch/coin pockets you appliqued to the front and back of this unusual bag. These coin pockets were called watch pockets when I way a girl. I have not seen a man carry a pocket watch in over 50 years. However, the better jean companies still put a watch/coin pocket on their jeans (as mostly decoration) today. This bag is washable, repairable, roomy, strong, fully lined, interesting, charming, and cute. There is one hip pocket on the outside (with a watch/coin pocket), one hip pocket inside, one zippered pocket inside and two denim handles. This bag could start a conversation because of the forgotten history of those little pockets. Thank you for this video. Please stay safe.
I have no idea where to find a pocket watch (toy or real) today; but, wouldn't it be divine to attach the end of the chain to one handle and allow the chain to lead to the watch/coin pocket with the pocket watch in it. A long chain was attached to the pocket watch which was attached to a belt loop to keep the pocket watch from being lost (if it came out of the pocket). In men's fashion that watch chain was often gold and very flashy. You should be able to view one in use in an old black and white movie.
