My dad has the 3 doors version S line and man.. We really really love it. Okay it's an expensive car but there's so much quality feeling in the car. The doors are heavy and once you shut them, u feel the quality. Seriously, amazing car. Especially if u go for the 17" alloys, great looking car !

But inside it is possible to command a kind of an audi A8, My wife and me commanded exactly that, and all aour neighbours, driving Toyota and Volvo, are jealous, not of my BMW, but of this little friendly car...
He meant the "engine brake" effect you have by lifting your feet from all the pedals or by shifting into a low gear. Anyway, from what I know, the DSG/S-Tronic doesn't shift to N automatically while cruising or while halting at a junction or traffic light; it would cancel the engine brake or take way too much time when briefly stopping because the gearbox would have to disengage and engage again the gear.
I know the VW Polo may be better for passengers but I've owned a 2006 Polo and it just killed VW cars for me, It was awful, sluggish, loud outside and inside and was overall just a poor experience. I know Audi is a VW company but I'd rather pay more for a car thats better for me the driver who bought it. If folk in the back are going to complain they can get the bus. The only people in my car 95% of the time is me and my girlfriend and if the front is comfortable and quiet then I'd say it was worth it. I'd rather not have a Ford, nothing against the company especially since they have some really great cars coming out these days I just dont have an interest.
Stop being so childish. Volvo, BMW, Mercedes and Audi make very nice cars and if you remove the chasis and look what's underneat, they're very much alike, apart from the engine. And indeed, most Audi quattro systems nowadays are from Haldex (Swedish so yes, Volvo uses it as well), only tuned differently. All of these top of the line car brands have their perks and all of them are fantastic to own/drive.
I know that the 1.6 TDI is a very good engine, but the 1.2 TSI isn't so sluggish... It has enough low-rev torque to go easily up hills and I believe that if driven in a sporty way even the TDI can return poor mileage. The normally aspirated 1.2 3-cyl and 1.4 4-cyl, instead, are another story.
Opel's line-up is a mixture GM's global models. Agila-Suzuki Splash, Ampera-Chevrolet Volt, Antara-rebodied Daewoo Winstorm. The rest are developed in both UK and Germany. So i wouldn't say it's 100% German...
The biggest problem of this car is the price, it's almost twice the price of let's say a Skoda rapid with the same engine, sure it has better quality interior, some extra noise insulation but still I don't think the price difference is justified.For the same price of the A1 you can get a decent equipped VW Golf, or a Ford Focus or many more cars that are in a superior class.
Car manufacturers... Sport USED to mean - Fast and Dynamic. Now it is used to describe practicality and is seen on estates and is now used to describe a supermini with rear doors.
This car is really and truly a VW polo underneath with glitzy details and its nearly 10k more! I might aswel buy a Brand new VW polo. and a used Phateon to show off in :P
I must admit I watch Carbuyer's videos mostly because of this guy, he's sooooo cute and funny and handsome, ahhhhhhh ^-^ oh, and they actually do really good reviews too

It's a premium supermini, what do you expect? A Cooper isn't much cheaper and you don't see people critizing that.

I love the A1, it's small and cute. I actually think it's cuter than the Mini, but then tbh I'm fed up with seeing Minis evreywhere
