The Orlando Magic outscored the Denver Nuggets, 68-53 in the second half, as they snap a 3-game losing streak and defeat Denver 122-120. Paolo Banchero tallied the first triple-double of his career with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists as Jalen Suggs had a career-high 27 points and 7 3PT FG. Cole Anthony tallied 23 points for Orlando as well. Nikola Jokic led Denver with 29 points (13-19 FG), 4 rebounds, and 8 assists while Jamal Murray added 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists. The Magic move to 20-15 while the Nuggets move to 25-12.
Paolo Banchero becomes the sixth player in Magic history to record a 30-point triple-double, joining:
Nikola Vucevic (2x)
Dwight Howard
Tracy McGrady
Penny Hardaway
Nick Anderson

He is the number one option, but I he was struggling all night long. And with 5 seconds remaining, Jokic was not set yet so Murray tried to come with some magic on his own to tie the game... In the end, good recognition by the Magic wing defenders. 3 guys collapsed on Murry as the game clock expires.

I agree but Coach Malone is a textbook coach and do his sets when certain match-up calls for it. Say for example, last night's game against the warriors. They have 3.9 secs to draw a play... It was on Jokic right, and eventually won the game for the Nuggets.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Paolo and franz! But SUGGS is by far my favorite player, amazing defender and brings the energy. If he’s hitting 3’s, tough to beat that. Love Cole Anthony too, guy just gets buckets! Love this team!

The Magic won this game due to their unreal depth. IMO, they have the most depth in the league and if they can ever finish putting it all together, they can go from an good young team to a title contender.

Magic needs to make some trades and get a point guard and a shooter that can take the pressure off of the forwards. They are a really good team and can be even better with a few moves.

Instead if calling a timeout and setting up a last second potential game winner, they did run a 3 on 1 fastbreak, where Mo Wagner tried to set up Paolo B. for a nice fast break dunk. Alas he got fouled, but hit both free throws. This gave the Nuggets a chance to win or tie the game!
The defense in the last possessioni was spot on (no foul, no threepointer, no Jokic!).

When Denver tries to play too much one on one basketball instead of moving in the offensive half court they are just another ordinary team🏀🏀
true but they lose mostly when not playing solid team defense since they don't have enough solid individual defenders..
Agreed, but mostly they will simply outscore most teams if they run their offense correctly. Basketball these days is largely about scoring most of your possessions and playing solid team defense at the end of the game because it is hard to stop a lot of these players one on one throughout an entire game which is why you also need a deep bench to win championships and I think they have all those ingredients🏀🏀🏀
