Hi Didier! I'm glad to hear that you are happy with it. This one means this one on the video or just the same type? I regret having sold it at the beginning of last year but I already bought an other bike. The TDM was a strong and versatile bike. I rejetted the carbs and exchanged the ignition cables. All what it needed to be reliable was this. Pulled like an iron horse.

Dear Lajos, I'm hoping to buy one tomorrow, in exactly the same color settings :-) (but the one I want is from 1995) slightly less old. I'll tell you how it went when I have finalised the purchase!
    Kind Regards,
    Dennis

Hi Dennis, it is a great motorbike. I regret that I sold it. It was reliable and its sound... I'll never forget it.

I bought.a 2000 model last month and realised it behaves differently to my old Honda VFR as regards the choke. With the TDM850 it seems you flood the carbs if you turn in the choke unless the bike wants you to turn it on. It coughed and spluttered for two days after.

Hello. The fuel switch needs to be in RES or ON position? Thank you!

Both position should be OK, when you start the engine. I used RES (Reserve) position only when the fuel level was too low to operate in ON position. In theory both have their own fuel filter so there should be no problem when everything is maintained regularly.
