If you are interested in flamenco and latin go for classical. Acoustic if you are a pop and country guy.

In my experience they usually are since clarity for counterpoint is important on classicals plus a softer attack. You can really go hard with a pick on a steel string and we’re usually plucking on classicals

But also my classical costed like $2000 and my most expensive acoustic steel string was like $400 so I’m biased
