Went to my first Goodwill grand opening last month. Was reluctant to go but dragged myself anyways. Got a ton of great clothing but my best score was on the endcap. I picked up 10 Masters of the Universe figurines. All were an exclusive He-Man one from Target. Paid $34 for all 10. I've sold 6 of them so far for $400. I've got the remaining 4 listed at $80-$90 a piece because the boxes are in pristine condition. Also got a copy of DBZ Budokai 3 for standard media price of $2.99. Sold it for $214. After all the other clothing and shoes I bought, I've already tripled my money from my entire haul and I've got a TON of clothing to list yet.
That’s amazing! What state was your grand opening in? They had a Masters of the Universe set they were selling for like $70. Almost as expensive as Walmart 🤦🏼♂️ There’s another one in Georgia I might try to get to next week.
This is a fun one! I've never been to a GW grand opening - it looks fun! That shoe rack chaos would have me also escaping to the book section or the restroom corridor 😅 How sweet of that lady to gift you the Celtics onesie!
It looked like people were looting the way they were so aggressive, grabbing up big carts full in the same section. I think I would've turned the camera off, and focused on getting in there on that third round. Glad you were still pretty happy with your haul. Plus you gained experience.
Very aggressive! I was making light of it in the video but things were getting heated with a few people pushing and yelling. It wasn’t worth it for me to add to it.

First video I watched of yours was the Quest for the Best Thrift Store in Columbia, SC where you met Hairy Tornado and bought that cool Liquid Blue AOP Bear shirt 🐻🔥 and you mentioned you work doing TV & movie production and it made sense because it definitely shows in the editing of your content. Really enjoyed watching this, although I would not have enjoyed being there, as I'm a little claustrophobic. I would have made myself go, though, for the deals and the experience. You did really well. Having lived on Cape Cod most of my life (and now in RI), I liked the Cape Cod sweatshirt and the baby outfit the best. Another Celtics fan from birth!
