Thanks for the info!.
I was the guy who asked for front clearance.
I have a PSA dagger with suppressor hight sights with the rear sight in front of the optic.
It JUST fits.. I mean like it rubs...it's tight.. but it fits! Whoop whoop winner winner
Actually surprised how good it held up. I appreciate you taking the time to review this and actually test it
Thanks , I had a feeling I should wait for v2.
10000% .... And you'll save 65$ im sure
I appreciate the excellent review, thanks!
Range optic only. Would not carry it. But glad Olight is bringing out a dot at this price point.
Only dot this is going to be is the lowest DOT on the graph in regards to sales!!
Buy American, BE AMERICAN!!!!
Curious what device you just typed that message on...and where it and it's parts were made?
@@kikibarrios1231ok gramps put your Chinese made phone down before your cream of wheat gets cold
I posted you to X, Thanks for the info Harley !
Thank you. God bless and stay safe.
Oh nice thank you for this info
I just picked one of those lone wolf frames and love it ,pairs nicely with the dagger sw6 slide, green osight on the way..figured for price I'd give it a try.
Don’t drop it!
O-nope
I don't have my optic yet I'm gonna cancel my order because I'm running suppressor sights on my P320
I appreciate you friend
Isn't it designed to be used with regular stock sights, the battery hood I mean.
Yes but that’s the fault in the design. As mentioned in the video, anyone using a red dot should be using taller suppressor-height sights. So they didn’t design it for the correct use-case.
What iron sights are you running ?
Just the ones that come installed on the Lone Wolf Dusk 19
Thanks for the review. that last grouping was pretty tight, but way right. Was that from the sight being off after the beating?
minus that lower flyer, it's actually pretty close to my first group. Admittedly, i'm not the best pistol shooter either. I have an astigmatism that makes red dots a challenge for me.
@@HarleyWood23 Fair enough. Does the green dot help your astigmatism? I've heard it can but haven't tried myself yet. Thanks for all the reviews and GAWs and it's awesome you even take the time to reply to comments!
@@bradledford5694 i've never used a green one to test the difference. I probably should. It's actually a great idea for a follow up to this video. Thanks for supporting the channel. Appreciate it.
Can this red dot fit directly to a sig p365 x macro
Not without an adapter. This optic has an RMR footprint. The XMacro has an RMSc footprint.
@HarleyWood23 appreciate it thanks
I still want one for my ar just because of the window size
Ordered mine during that first few days when they gave you $40 off put it on and took it to the range today to zero in. I love that big window PS not going to beat on mine with a mallet😊
Very cool, man. Sorry about your frame, but in that spot, you can make the fix into something functional, like you said.
Nice honest review. I watched some others (Sootch) but he never had a bad paid review. My money is still on Holosun for the Chinesium stuff.
Pretty crazy the hood cut for the irons was a miss but what about all the reports of not holding zero, even airsoft grade optics are doing that.
What reports?
@@BigBear-- pretty much every other video on this thing shows it breaking or not holding zero. this is actually the only video i saw where it got a thumbs up, go watch overton windex or desk pops video on it
@@itsamk18-ishI'll check ot out. Thanks.
Great testing, sorry you broke the front strap of your baby in the process.
I was curious how the charger would fare with various sites and you hit it on the head.
Shocking that it wasn't a more serious consideration before launch given its purpose.
I wonder if they'll eat costs for folks to swap to a v2 if their circumstance warrants it.
Thanks for the informative upload.
Ohh shoot
🤷🏼♂️
Olight owes you a frame lol
Lol..zulsy oak does everything this sight does for 70$ less and doesn't break or move the dot under recoil .. Shocked that guys are still trying sell us this deal , there are budget optics that work ..swamofox Gideon Zulsy Ceylee and couple more
They really should have asked folks like you to provide them with feedback during the development of this red dot. Big misses from r&d team there. Good video, hopefully Lone Wolf send you a new frame. Still love my Dusk tho. Purchased mine after watching your video.
Those were almost 4" groups at 7 yards. Has that gun always done that?
You sound like the instructor when I take pistol courses. Nope. Just me.
@HarleyWood23 No, I wasn't thinking it was you at all. I didn't know if the barrel has had alot of rounds through it. I've watched you shoot for lots of years. I wasn't thinking it was you.
The Osights are junk. Say with the reputable brands (Holosun, Vortex, etc..).
From 7 yards and supported, those groups look too wide open. Maybe a gun issue?
1:05 Why are you flipping us off?
LOL. that should be the video thumbnail
@@HarleyWood23 I thought that might catch your attention 🤣It made me do a double take
Did O light send these to everyone to destroy because that is all everyone cares about smh.
no. in fact, they were not thrilled that i was going to torture test it, but i told them i would not promote it without confidence that it was well-built. I can't speak for their agreements with others, but being that it's a completely new product, i think naturally people are curious about the durability.
@@HarleyWood23 I agree with testing it for durability, Olight doesn't have a good name in the gun industry, but at what point is it unrealistic. Also, it seems everyone testing them has abused them. Still, Love your videos, but I'd like to see the optic get a fair shake at doing the normal shooting or even a USPSA match.
@@MRWest85 i don't disagree, and like i said in the video, the rubber mallet alone was more abuse than 99.9% of abuse anyone will ever put their optic through. However, testing to the extremes helps to mimic years of abuse in a very short timeframe. Hopefully the fact that it survived provides some confidence for those considering a purchase. I appreciate you watching and contributing in the comments.
The battery charging system sucks. I stick with Trijicon and Holosun!!
Not too long ago, people talked about holosun like they do olight. I think we should expect quality, hold them accountable, but encourage them to innovate. There is a reason holosun has gone from being considered trash, to being almost on par with the rmr.
One charge is good for 70,000 hours or 3 years. This means you can fully charge it once and not touch it again for 3 years.
I love my Holosuns, but only my SCS can match that. Fucking Trijicon doesn’t last that long and the ones I still own require me to take them off to change the battery.
@@ronmartblog My experience with O-Light rechargeable batteries and light products has been pretty bad.
I had their 18650 Light and both the cable and light have gone kaput and my light ended up catching fire, not extreme flame like you probably expect, but burning out after 2 hours of car engine work.
Their Baldr light, the large one, not the mini and not rechargeable, has had the green laser flicker and cut out multiple times, light going dim quickly and just being a pain to use.
The mount into the picatinny on pistols doesn’t hold so secure.
Got to say, China is 👎 in regards to quality and rugged use.
Streamlight and SureFire for the TOTAL win!
@@kikibarrios1231 not mine - I’ve got 3 lights since 2020 - zero issues
Uhhh...Except both Streamlight and Surefire both have stuff manufactured in China. Most of Streamlight is made in China, with some being "assembled" in USA for government contract requirements. Someone made a woopsie...
O-light is one company I will never support. Too many shenanigans and quality problems. They’re right up there with Springfield Armory in my mind.
What company hasn't had quality issues? Judge the product on it's own merits. Springfield has a ton of amazingly reliable products. It's also had some minor issues, like every single other manufacturer. Same for Olight.
You get what you pay for. I do not or will not own any Olight products. I will stick with SureFire, and Trijicon for all my applications.
@BanditApache-nd6lu Judge each product on it's own merits. Stop with the danboy nonsense. There are a ton of tests where Olight outperforms Surefire and Stremlight. Depends on the product. Check out the Torque Test Channel for some of his flashlight tests.
*Fanboy...not danboy.
