  • Create three sets of 5 inch quads in ascending sizes as follows
    a. First quad, inflate with four pumps
    b. Second quad, inflate with two pumps
    c. Third quad, inflate with one pump
Air fill one 18in balloon and roll up a 260Q or 160Q scrap into the neck of the balloon and tie in place.
Stack the two-pump quad on top of the four-pump quad. Then, tie the 18 inch balloon into the two stacked quads with a figure-eight motion, using the 260Q or 160Q tied to the neck.
Tie a balloon weight into the bottom of the four-pump quad using the ends of the 260Q or 160Q used to secure the 18in and two quads together. Attach a strip of packing tape to each of the 5 inch balloons on the bottom of your design to help prevent popping from dust particles on the floor.
Note: at this point, you can stop and sell the design as is or continue on to future upgrade!
Create a tie-off point at the top of the 18 inch balloon by taping a two-inch scrap of 160Q or 260Q to the top center of the balloon. Be sure to secure each end of the scrap to your balloon with two pieces of tape - one attached horizontally and attached vertically, leaving the center of the scrap untapped.
Note: You can use heavy-duty packing tape or balloon bond for taping the tie-off point onto the 18 inch balloon.
Tie a weighted balloon bouquet to the tie-off point you created.
Add the one-pump quad to the bottom of your balloon bouquet, and at the top of the 18 inch to cover the tie-off point and balloon weight.
