Hi
You gotta check out PEI (Prince Edward island) they have an unreal food truck culture in the summer here ! And amazing restaurants on the water !!!
Awesome video. Also Bert and Ernie are not in a relationship. I just looked it up 😂🤣 (Wipes the sweat off my forehead).
Sonny: "Ayo! I need to spend $100!"
Asia: "Nah."
America: "I gotchu fam."
He also failed miserably in Nigeria
@itatchisasku true! 😀☺️
now understand why in America people are BIG
If you want to spend $100 you can, but you have to eat nasty stuff like birds' nest and shark fin.
@@dankamarmstrong6989 dont let that distract u from countries suffering from wet the bed syndrome

Think it its cause he is use to being out of the u.s. money went farther lol. Even I lol'd when I knew where he ended up at.
yep, I don't doubt the food was good...but some of these prices...imagine if you go as a family; bankrupt before you can blink
exactly. XD 100$ in mexico would feed you for over a month on street food
i’m actually so impressed with how much he was able to buy for 100$ 😂
I like his channel but its obvs just show. In even the biggest third world shithole like india there are streetfoods that cost over a hunnid dollars and he knows that. But where is the fun in just enjoying a 5 star meal and a video that goes for 2 minutes.
same! 😂
american street foods aint cheap!
You mean eat
You should try seeing how much indian and Pakistani street food cost
As an spaniard I’m trying to be open minded but adding chorizo to a paella screams SPANISH JAIL 💀💀💀loved the video💕
yeah and with the chicken broth it wa basically a risotto more than a paella, still it was definitely good
@@gravyboi955 to be fair, they are in minnesota so fresh saltwater fish would need to be shipped in. Also might be easier to ween people who are unfamiliar with paella into the real stuff
not chorizo, but the zuchini was the one which made me cry

I'm from Costa Rica and I knew I was gonna find this comment when I saw that jajajaj. Love Spanish food. It is the best
When street food is more expensive than in a restaurant, you know you're in America.
Yeah for having barely any operating costs food trucks are NOT cheap... They used to be when I was a kid but they've been taken over by hipster trend branding and marketing and with that comes price increases.
@@gorga8618 The OG food trucks are still around with good prices, they hit up more business centers though early morning, and have bomb ass chilaquiles
Yeah it really is ridiculous how homemade, delicious street food in other countries can feed several until you can't movie for like $5-10
Y'all don't understand currency exchange rate. Try doing this with 100 Pesos, 100 Ringgit or 10,000 Yen, you'll probably gonna get similar result in term of quantities of food.
@@Twofix What the hell are you talking about? Obviously we all considered exchange rates lmao. No one stated otherwise. YOU clearly don't understand cost of living differences between countries/cities etc.

But he probably gonna get more sponsors and gigs here. They probably sponsor him the food later on, too.
He's not even including the tips that those stupid machines always ask. It would be way less food with it!
This again depends on where in the country you happen to be. Food trucks , depending on what they are serving will cost more or less. In the Southwest, it might be cheaper at the mexican food trucks. Watched Mark Wiens in Tuscon, and he had this huge burrito wrapped in bacon. The place he went to had these big Sonoran tortillas which they filled with meat, cheese tomatoes and fresh avocados with a drizzel of mayo.Wrap it up ,then wrap it with bacon and cook on the grill. That was $12.00 but worth it. He mentions beigents. Mexicans have sopapillos(maybe misspelled.) It means little pillows. These are square pieces of dough that are fried,. They are light and airy, not dense, and we like breaking them open and drizzeling them with honey. Some people put butter on them.
Hahah yep. $100 in vietnam can last a month or more on street food but in america 🤦🏾😂. Could be in a day just on food trucks
The accidental shrimp drop and coincidental dog moment was wholesome lol

Paella with chorizo... An entire nation is crying now. Thank you.

Why does this food make me want to cry? It looks SO, SO amazing!!
Love Sonny's humor lol, he definitely is a child at heart
That’s the thing with food trucks in the US, everything is super overpriced so hitting 100 dollars mark isn’t a problem.
i swear
It's true that they tend to be more expensive but there is a positive side to it. Namely that most people that own food trucks are in it for the joy of cooking and not just dollars because unless you get super lucky and branch out you're never going to be rolling in cash operating a food truck so its a labor of love and thus much more likely to actually taste good. And another reason it tastes good is that many food trucks locally source instead of relying on frozen foods, this is also why the price is usually a little hard to swallow.

Labor is expensive. He had hired help. Minimum wage laws. Taxes. Fees for the truck and for the city. Probably some fees for the police and ambulance nearby. Events are like that.

Yes but Vietnamese money value is way lower then the US dollar thus a lot of tourists might seem like it’s cheap.
To me a Bowl of Pho or my personal favorite Bun Rieu is pretty affordable usually go for about 1.5 dollars which is a far price.
Do have to say some of the food in this video is on the expensive side like 13 dollar for a burger…
bruh ever heard of currencies rate?
@Dmon ! It will only be cheap in the perspective of wealthy tourists. Pricing is just an arbitrary number. You can't say something is cheap just because the price is low. Compared to the low income of the locals, it ceases to be cheap anymore. Perspective matters.
Because America’s per capita income is 8 times higher than Vietnam’s
