Nice design. Magnus from current industries made his own titanium spring as well. That really set it apart for me.

Nice Nice (Robert here from FB :p) So, I haven't been watching FB much so I've been out of the loop. I wasn't sure I was gonna get a Titanium pen just because I really wanted to save for a possible Zirc, but I really like Thunderstorm and think I'll grab one. Actually makes me think of a video game like Dark Souls with the blue/purple being kinda faded into that tumbled effect.

Very neat design. One thing I'm curious about is the rigidity of the refill within the barrel/tip: Is there any wiggle/play when changing directions when writing, as you do a lot when printing? I own a lot of machined pens, and I've found it's definitely a balancing act to get the tip to both allow compatibility with a variety of refills, but also have tolerances tight enough that there's no wiggle when writing. Since the wiggle bugs me a lot, I lean more toward limiting to specific refills that fit perfectly vs having a lot of choice, but looser tolerances. Some of my pens are definitely better at this than others.

Tim Lara great question! We got refills from a bunch of different brands. The tip diameter varies slightly from brand to brand. We made the hole just big enough to accommodate all the refills we tested. So to answer your question there is a tiny amount of play but any smaller some brand refills would not fit in the hole.

Tim Lara I will also say that I could custom make a nose cap specifically for the refill you use if you want it even tighter. I would swap out the caps free of charge

Good thing I collect bolt pens otherwise 200+ would have been gone for one of these.
