  • I want to show you some mosses, and explain how to deal with them. These are good for most aquarium types, but with Co2 injection they are growing better.

    -Riccardia Chamedryfolia / Coral Moss
    -Fissidens Fontanus / Phoenix moss
    -Java Moss
    -Christmas moss (Vesicularia montagnei)
    -Flame moss (Taxiphyllum)
    -Weeping moss (Vesicularia ferriei )
    -Riccia
    Rare types:
    -mini & giant Fissidens fontanus
    -Miroshaki moss
    -Fissidens nobilis
    -Mini christmas
    -Willow moss (Fontinalis antipyretica)
    -Giant willow moss (Fontinalis antipyretica var. gigantea)
    -Cameroon moss (Plagiochilaceae sp)

      Thank you! We gave it a try, unfortunately we have not many time for aquascaping because we're working on other projects. Soon there will be more info about that ;)

      @@aquafox6868 right now I have Java Moss in my 60P non-soil tank. My next tank will have weeping moss. 😀❤️

      @@HavishVSbe aware with the trimming of weeping moss ;) don't forget to suck out the trimmed moss particles while trimming, otherwise weeping will grow everywhere :D

    Thanks, another good video!
    Would be nice if you write the plant names to the screen during the presentation, not just listing it in the description.
    It would be easier for people like me, from other countries and with poor latin skills :)

    Just a suggestion. If you place some 3% hydrogen peroxide on the algea it will kill the algea not the moss or you may place the moss in a darkened area for three days; algea will die moss will regrow.
