*Notice* Daigo's posture. He sits up in his seat. Relaxed and planted. He isn't sprawled out in an attempt create comfort, and doesn't rest his wrists on, or pour over his equipment in a desperate attempt to stay grounded and focused. When practicing at home it is important to do this. Sitting on a stool with no backing or an exercise ball is super smart. Giving yourself the time to let yourself get used to this will improve your focus, comfort, endurance, calm and general health over time.

That was a really smart read on that red focus to absorb the ex hop kick. Poongko knew daigo was going to do that on his wakeup it was really close to working

Poong has always been one of the players who most touched me, for performance and reaction. But realize that this next coming of its maximum potential.
poongko is kind of underrated. He is a really strong player that plays a very bad nerfed character.
I reiterate, one of my favorite players, however I do not see much in what he can impress, if the character is bad or not, it's point of view,
Even with Seth nerfed, Poongko's still putting in work. The only person he's free to is Xian it seems.
Poongko claims Seth vs Gen is 6-4, 7-3 if it's Xian's level of Gen.

Just some masterful yomi. Land the combo, you'll block because you're scared, I grab. Land the crossup toetaps, you're desperate, ex shoryuken, I punish and win. Part of getting a comeback like that is getting in the other guy's head.

So, I'm confused here. Poongko beat Daigo here, but Daigo was in Grand Finals. Who beat Poongko?
It doesn't work like that. The wins and losses of every fight are tallied. The total of losses is deducted from the wins giving a game differential (GD). Daigo only lost 7 rounds with a GD of +13 through the course of the tournament which is why he was in the final. Poongkos GD was only +4.
Psytrese That's very odd. I prefer regular tournaments. The ones where you have a pool and losers bracket. This way just seems unfair. Daigo could have won more simply because he fought easier players. Poongko beat him, and I think that makes him the better player. Oh well, the tournaments get weird in different countries.
TrueUnderDawgGaming No it doesn't work like that. Everyone played each other in a set once, it was a round robin style tournament with a small group of elite players. Nobody "won simply because he fought easier players"

Poongko is an awesome player.. He only loses to other players cause of Seth's low health.. Evil Ryu had a similar health range to Seth...and so Poongko managed to beat a player of Daigo's caliber..BTW Where is infiltration?!

I have mad respect for Daigo but Kuroda is the best to me. He can beat anybody with any character in third strike. I know it's two totally different games but I've never seen anyone dominate like Kuroda

+Skkittles He's never dominated 3rd strike. I'm just saying that the way he dominates other street fighter games is not on the same level as the way Kuroda dominates 3rd strike. He can beat anybody with just about any character. Daigo sticks with the stronger characters.
+Skkittles Daigo dominated in SF4, but that's about it. In ST, there is a number of players who would destroy him. Not familiar with him in Alpha. Infiltration is on top in SF5. 3S is just out of Daigo's league. There are fodder who would beat him convincingly.

If he was actually OP then we'd see a lot more seth's out there. Poongko is the only Seth that even stands a chance to beat Daigo and other top players, seth's ridiculously low life balances his advantages.
Low life?..what the f bomb you say?..when i play with seth..the enemy rival can't even move..i have..sonic boom...long range punches...teleports..guard breakers *Pile driver*..Shoryu ken triple hit -GIGANTIC STUN %-..Fireball evading kick *The kick who does like 10 hits*.. .-. he don't have bad life bar..he resist the same like ryu's today.

Raw red focus uses 2 ex bars and can absorb a lot hits unless the are armor break moves but evil Ryu ex tatsu is pretty safe so he got to dp fast enough to punish the end of the red focus

I may be wrong, but don't think Seth ever won a major yet was nerfed over and over. Online TONY used to take down WNF all the time but that's it. Love Poongko and his loyalty to the character and one of my top 5 SF moments was his defeat of Daigo in 2013's EVO top 8.
***** How doesn't it make sense? Most winners of tournaments are from top tier characters, yet Seth was deemed OP and never won. He received the most nerfs throughout the game while Yun continually sat atop, unchallenged through many iterations. Not sure what part doesn't make sense here and I never said characters shouldn't' be nerfed.
