I don’t say this at all with the intention of malice: I think he ought to hire a vocal coach. He’s got a very charming tone. He simply needs more discipline. I don’t think-like others-that he should just stick to acting. He’s not without talent. He’s 20 and his voice still sounds boyish (not a negative thing).
I see no reason why he shouldn’t be able to hit more impressive notes and expand his vocal range. I’m rooting for him, but I do hope he regroups and comes back with a killer song and wows me.
