Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the replacement vacuum tank switch. This is going to be for your Dometic vacuum flush RV toilet. This can also be used for boat toilets as well. It's going to fit a lot of those out there, and this is going to be a very important part to make sure that everything is flushing properly, that you're getting the proper vacuum pressure for your system. So this is factory set here.
This little wheel is adjustable but you do not want to do any kind of adjustment to it yourself. As I said, they do adjust the pressure at the factory and then they put a little epoxy on there to make sure that it can't be tampered with. So just a note there. Comes with a large grommet or O ring in place to make sure that it has a good tight seal into our tank. You might need to drill a couple holes to get these two ports actually installed and tightened down. Kind of depends on your setup and whether or not it requires those holes to be drilled.
But it should just run into your vacuum regulator tank and get you back up and running. The wiring connections will go up here at the top. You should have ring terminals to go underneath these flathead screws. So just back those out, put your wires in place. Of course, you do want to make sure that you cut off the water to your system and the power to make sure that nothing is going to go awry whenever you get this in place, or whenever you go to take off the old one.
And it's also a good idea to evacuate out your tank as much as possible to get everything cleaned out as much as you can before you get started. But that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the placement vacuum tank switch for your Dometic VACU flush RV toilet. Thanks for watching.
