The English rock and blues guitarist is one of the only three-time inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once as a solo artist, and separately as a member of the Yardbirds, and Cream. He’s undoubtedly one of the most influential and important guitarists of all time. One of Clapton's dreams was to have a classic car collection, and as someone who's reached superstardom, that dream has certainly become a reality. 996 C4S he was seen driving in one of his video documentaries. He had a 550 maranello too with his name plate inside on the passenger side.
I ran in to Eric at a Rite Aid on Sunset in Hollywood. His Bugatti was out front. Very much a rock star moment

Jeff Beck was showing Eric Clapton his car collection one day but Eric didn't seem to impressed. Jeff had mostly old cars that he built himself and Eric bought all his cars either new or done. Different strokes.
eric once said that Jeff was more dedicated to his guitar playing AND his cars......he probably was right there....

I was familiar with the cars that Roy Brizio built for Eric Clapton. I was fortunate enough to be in the shop while they were being assembled. You missed two 32 Fords and a 57 Chevy wagon. Jeff Beck also had 3 brizio street rods. I think Eric owns seven in total.
I would really enjoy spending some time around some Ferraris. I've spent more time pushing them. Not as far as I have pushed the Cobras
I saw that ‘49 Ford when it was being hot rodded. I saw them building it when I visited Brizio Street Rods in South San Francisco a few years back.

I once owned a 1976 fibreglass Black Ferrari 308GTB with Black leather interior that apparently was owned by Eric Clapton. I'm wondering why he would have let such a beautiful car go as he tends to keep most of his cars. If it's even true that he did actually own it.

One observation..with all the money he bought cars on top of cars...his money..fair. ...but...then the celebrities will lecture you from their yachts and Lamborghini on helping the poor..the homeless...etc...etc...etc.....the day I see one of their yachts pulling into a west Africa Harbour with a big red cross painted on it it filled with medical supplies and medical personnel funded by the millions...in some cases billions of dollars celebrities waste on cars, planes, boats, ranchee, plastic surgery etc...then I will listen . Not before.

Some good items, the classic ferrari-typs, but the most are rubbish: too less Alfa Romeos, TZ1 and TZ2, SZ, no Lancia Stratos, no Abarth, no Ferrari 250LM, very baaaad. His collection shows his socialisation where he is coming from; all must be all big and expensive, but money there should be not the problem.
I like EC a lot , tragically this all means nothing after the loss of his son .
as someone who has had many of these amazing cars, and lost a child, I can say that EC would trade it all in a NY city minute to get his son back. I would.
