It was a joke people, when he said he was signed for 12 more films.
In almost every interview he's asked about the future of Spiderman he says he truly doesn't know what the future holds, even tho Amy Pascal said there's another trilogy coming it could also mean Tom, Zendaya and Jacob may not participate in those.
They would likely be in them. They say he has a contract until 34 years old, which is like 9 years. That lines up with the idea of 3 more movies.

@@Darth--Malak why? I’m pretty sure it happened in the comics at some point. It IS interesting to wonder how both being spider people would affect their dynamic and relationship. I mean, would it make things harder? Easier? Would he have to train her? It’s something that hasn’t been done in a film before and I think that it’s just another one of those curiosities that others might have. It would definitely take Spider-Man in a wildly different and compelling direction.

I've been thinking about this that ever since I heard it I think the absolute perfect person to play Ginger Rogers opposite him especially Em especially they would look greatest partners but the best one would be Julian Huff Derek sister not only she brilliant dancer especially in Bahrain she's also an actress she can also sing and she's gorgeous they would look great together I don't think they could get anyone better than her the girl can dance her assoff and she could help Tom with a lot of the elegant ballroom stuff!!
