Hello my dearest. Please take care! Don't cross a highway like you did. Its very dangerous. There are many traffic accidents in Abidjan. In this video, you ask if the building was the highest in Abidjan. No, the building is Hôtel Ivoire. A 5 stars Hotel in Abidjan. But africa highest building Is being built right now in Abidjan. 64 floors I heard. The Ivorian economy is booming. At least 8% every year since 2012.

NB: Ivory Coast is not in competition with any other African country we are a great nation and economically and security strong. But from 2000 to 2010 we faced lot of political crisis that reduces the pace of our growth .From 2011 we are started where we left, we have have more stability and we are progressing correctly. Ivory Coast has always been great nation in Africa it is just not well known in Anglophone Countries. Get Ready for Yamoussoukro, there are more wider road more beautiful administrative building compare to Abidjan. AT should show the highway that link Abidjan to Yamoussoukro so that we should see that infrastructure is not limited to Abidjan. If you cannot encourage us please do not discourage ou belittle us. We are competing for ourselves. We never see any African as an enemy as long as it threat us with Respect.

Ivory Coast have a lot of issues but we are not gonna get into politics on this sister channel. Ivory Coast was a great country, but since 2011, things have totally changed. The country is no longer what it used to be. A lot of problems there. Hopefully, change will come one day and soon and the country will recover its glory of the past. Now, Ivorians are just dealing with the situation they are dealt with, but hopefully things will change in a near future. Security is not what it used to be. Now you have dangerous children as young as 7 year old roaming the streets with machetes and robbing strangers. They are called microbes. You see them in Abobo and Yopougon and Adjame. You have students sleeping in amphitheaters at night while before 2011, students were housed in student dorms. It is a lot of problems in that beautiful country. There are still thousands of Ivorians in exile who are too afraid to come back home and for justifiable reason. Many of them are still in Ghana after the 2011 war. Ghana may not be as developed as Ivory Coast, but itis a better place because people are living free and in a democracy there. This is why thousands of Ivorian refugees still in Ghana since 2011 prefer to stay in Ghana.

@@papap1186 I agree that when it comes to development, Ghana is no match to Ivory Coast. But Ivory Coast has been regressing since 2011, when it comes to human rights, justice, education and basic freedom and human development, while Ghana is making progress in these areas. It is good to live in a developed country like Ivory Coast, but it is better to ive in a country where citizens enjoy their basic freedoms like in Ghana.

Bravo African Tigress, you are showing the real life of Abidjan. Once again The Ivorian Sister who guides you she is really helpful. The mini bus”Gbaka” you’ve taken are used to change their route once they notice there is a traffic Jam or simply you did not hear through which way the driver has decided to go to his destination . You could have gone to the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire you can visit for free or just for a drink. In Abidjan you can visit :
Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire ( you just passed by in this video) and you should definitely visit it .
Le Parc National du Banco ( For Hicking )
BBR “boulay beach resort”it is a resort in boulay Island it is close to the port of Abidjan
Le Jardin Botanique ( it is a garden; it is in Bingerville a suburb close to Abidjan, I think you reside in Cocody so it is very close)
LaTerrasse ( one of the best restaurant )
Miss Zahui ( it is also a restaurant but typical Ivorian food)
L’internat ( it is similar to the place you got you lunch and it in Yopougon you will listen to the real Ivorian music and food)
Enjoy your stay and feel free to show your experience as it is. As everywhere in the world there is good and bad places so enjoy sister.

Most of these Francophone countries are so beautiful and clean and no one talks about it, I swear they are silently beautiful, they don’t joke when it comes to keeping clean.. No I didn't take French in Highschool I was allocated to a business class. So in my highschool we had 5 streams! 3 of which were business classes compulsory, one music compulsory and the other French compulsory.
I love languages I took partime classes in Chinese language and French while at University for about 3 months.
For me learning a language I use songs and translate each word. In French I used a poem called Je suis comme je suis. The song Aisha, another ivorienne song "ami oh " then listening to TV5Monde even if I didn't understand

Thanks AT for your hard work in showing different parts of Africa to the world. Let not your relentless effort go unnoticed….. with some negative comments & unnecessary comparisons to put other lovely African countries down.
The spirit of African Unity will never be achieved if Africans continue to play the same Colonial game of divide & conquer.
Every African country is unique. Let’s sit back and watch the diversities, the similarities, and the uniqueness amongst the great people of the Motherland.
For too long the West controlled the African narratives with their propaganda and innuendoes. Again, thanks AT for your relentless efforts and all those kind people who helped you on your arduous journey around Africa. 🇺🇸👍🏿

As a Ghanaian, I think most Nigerians that think we are over hyping Ghana don't understand us or are very ignorant. You can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm gonna list some of our popular Ghanaian tubers like Wode Maya, Jasmin Ama, Kwadjo Sheldon, Stella Shanelly, Ivy Prosper, Nana Ama McBrown aka McBrowns Kitchen, Sweet Adjeley, The Achampong family, Marintia Goto Williams, Rak Ghana, Ama Governor, Marintia Goto Williams, Vanessa Kanbi and many more. So tell me which of these people have said on their videos that Ghana is better or more beautiful than other African countries. We just promote what we already have. The same a great CZcamsr in Taiyo Aina is doing for Nigeria and its great.
Now most of us already know that Ivory Coast is more beautiful and organized than Ghana or Accra but we all here to learn because they don't advertise enough or most are geared towards the French speaking countries or language barrier we don't know but it's to have the exposure the great Country deserves. Like the Goat wode Maya always says Africa to the world not just Ghana and we in Ghana after all the banter and so forth really want Nigeria to succeed not only for West Africa but the whole africa because of the shear number (1 out of 5 black african is a Nigerian). Like Dr. Kwame Nkrumah said the independence (or greatness) of Ghana is meaningless unless its connected to the whole of Africa. A word to the wise is enough.

Pray and work hard for Ghana, your country's success first before praying for others that may not even need your prayer anyway. Are you from another continent or world to say you did not know Ghana was over hyped and the whole world lied to about Ghana? Those Ghanaian CZcamsrs numbers are way below the numbers of CZcamsrs some African countries have and they do not lie to others people about their countries. What those Ghanaian CZcamsr said was available in Ghana was no where to be found when African Tigress did her videos there. Ghana people wanted her to use a supersonic video camera with the speaker button put on a hype mode for Ghana. Africans have now seen the truth about your country Ghana. It is a poor little country.
