When you true reset it just makes you do more damage and unlocks stuff. You can't go past true reset until after you true reset.

True reset is good but when u get it it makes grinding levels slow as hell that's why. I even regret getting true reset early. You should get it when u get 40 resets cuz getting it without true reset is faster.

no a true reset is basically just a regular reset but it takes the cap off of a lot of things like lvls and only being able to reset 30 times it also unlocks new bosses
