  • On street fight when sombody try to punch you, is much safer and less hassle to take control of the attacker then return punches back as so often consequences can be serious (broken nose, jaw even fatality in some cases - if you've heard of one punch kill) When we know how to stop the punch and take control of the attacker is much better solution. Very techniques are used in MMA and sport Ju Jutsu competitions too. Long time ago I've uset very first technique to stop punch and put my attacker to sleep :). He was fine after he wake up and I had his apology.

When you step behind to apply the sleeper hold, your opponent can elbow you.

😂😂 How nice and comfortable it is to know in advance what move you're going to be hit with.
But in real combat, it will be different…😅

@@r-boondocker1300 in real street fight the only reason someone will attack is knowing he will succeed with his attack not knowing what are your skills. The element of surprise is what make it more effective good self defence techniques. Very different in the ring when both fighters are matched with similar skills.
I’ve worked for many years as security in night clubs in London and other towns and used my self and also my colleagues used many good restraining techniques effectively as well as striking techniques. Also I’ve competed full and light contact for over 20 years.
Not shore what is your experience and where you get those ideas!
      🙏
