Lana just mentioned her having laryngitis before this performance, and we know why she skipped many parts
Okay so i wasn‘t there, but i saw the entirety of the concert on youtube, and the mic issues were so blatantly visible. You can see her sing and the mic cuts off or distorts her voice. At first i thought it was due to her stage anxiety, but as it went on it‘s CLEARLY the mic. You can see her to start holding the mic away from her when she sings high notes as the concert progresses to damage control. I‘m so mad! The back up dancers and the recorded harmonies were way too loud, and on several videos of the sound check everything sounded fine. I‘m probably interpreting things, but i can‘t help but feel like this was on purpose.
Why festival as big as Coachella has this mic issues, it's embarrassing. Poor Lana, I thought she's got anxiety
Let's be honest, the mic was not the only problem. Billie sang very well. They could've exchange their mics if one was not working, but Lana has always struggled with live performances.
I'm so glad I'm seeing her this weekend instead, usually by weekend 2 all issues get fixed
@@luu9159 let's be honest... this mic was the problem. if you know anythnig about working behind the scenes on any kind of live production (i used to be a stage manager myself), you'd know that there are NOT the same settings on a soundboard for each microphone. billie was also more prepared with more pre[ time than lana. you can make the arguement that they could've exchanged mics but they STILL wouldve needed to adjust the settings not only for lana's voice but for all the rest of her set, which wouldve been programmed for her ORIGINAL mic. coach also gave other performers issues as well with their sets, not just lana.
