Ships in Bottles and Bulbs

This is a collection of ships in bottles and light-bulbs that my uncle, Paddy Coffey made. The largest ship, the Cutty Sark is in a Whiskey Bottle, the contents of which he had to drink in order to place the ship in it. The detail on the rigging is incredible. Paddy ran away to sea at a very young age and finally retired in his 70's. He was born in Dublin in 1905 and died in Dublin in 1989..
