    This tutorial is exactly what I was looking for! I agree with the problems of waxes and was looking for an alternative. Your video was easy to follow and a good length of time. Thanks for sharing :) Also, love the idea of adding metallics or creating my own color glazes.

    This is terrific! thank you. I didnt catch what the brand is for the ash tinting? Also it is important to sand so that the glaze can take hold or can I just glaze over fully painted piece. I do not really want a distressed look. Thank you!!

      Hi Anne! These are all Fusion Mineral Paint products, which I have in my online shop. And no, you don’t need to sand before the glaze :) lostandfounddecor.shop

    QUESTION: I just subscribed. What if you just want to glaze the recesses in the detailed areas and not the entire project? Meaning that you don’t want to change the color of the paint of your entire piece of furniture, but just bring out the details with a darker glaze.

      You can do that if you use a small artist brush to paint the glaze into the recesses . . . then I would leave it to dry. If you wipe it back, it will likely spread to the surrounding flat areas and will change the color there :)

    Can you apply a water based poly over that glaze for high use tables?

    Thanks 4 sharing. Can you use latex paint and clear was as will?

      You're welcome! I typically don't work with latex paint, so I can't speak for certain on how it will mix into the Clear Glaze. But I imagine it will work out just fine--maybe try it out on a small sample board first? Thanks for watching!

    Might’ve been more helpful applying the glaze overtop a lighter colour. The teal is so dark, I can’t even see the glaze in the finished product.

    Awesome 👏 is the glaze mixed with any chalk paint you mean !!! Thanks 🙏

      @LostFoundDecor  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! I use the glaze with Fusion Mineral Paint, it's an acrylic paint. With chalk paint, a tinted wax would work better. Glaze is very wet and there's a good chance it would remove the chalk paint

    I thought fusion was a mineral base paint? You said acrylic. Just clarifying

      Great question Carla :) That is a common point of confusion! The "mineral" in Fusion Mineral actually refers to the pigments used to create the colors. It is not a mineral based paint, but rather a high-quality acrylic paint
