Hey Zack, I just got 6 of the quadtools a week ago and WOW!! I have soooooooo much more independence then I ever thought I could! I have the short reacher the long reacher the spatula the knife the BBQ tongs and the garden pruning shears. I can load and unload the dishwasher now get things out of the cupboards pick things up off the floor!! These quadtools have changed my life!!

Awesome video Zack! That table you got is low and I know you can't get under it to use it properly. Something that might help are table leg risers. Keep up the great work! 👍 T4 para here.
Yeah that is something that is annoying. The problem is both of my arms rests are high so the table would have to be to higher for me to full roll under and by then the table would be to high for me haha, but I will look into leg risers. Thanks
I’m glad you’re able to be independent and the tools you use are impressive but I was a touch disappointed to not see a cute doggy feature at all. From watching your videos I think your greatest tool for independent living is your attitude to having challenges to overcome, as you touched on in your video, you’re not someone who wants to have someone hand you everything and attitude makes all the difference in life. Thanks for making this video and I hope your education is going well.

What other transfers do you do at night? Does your spasticity act up when you're home alone or at nighttime? Thanks Zack, you and Bree are both inspiring!

Another educational video! Thankyou!:) I had a question...do you ever have afternoon naps? Get sleepy and you want to sleep? Do you nap in your chair or do you just stay up? Wondering what you did if you were suddenly tired?
Good question! If I do get tired while I am home by myself I will back up against a wall and recline back until I rest my head against it and rest my eyes. But I don’t usually ever actually fall asleep or do that that often. However, I definitely get tired working on homework and reading from my school book haha.
@@zackcollie3364 I wonder if one of those airplane pillows would help? Yes reading makes me sleepy which is why I asked. I wondered what you would do if you wanted to nap. Try the pillow!:)
I have a 4 inch Rojo cushion. I am usually in my chair for 12 to 15 hours and yes I can feel pain in my butt. I usually will recline back to take pressure off of it if it starts hurting.

Ryan Callahan I don’t think you get approved for tools like these, unfortunately you have to pay for them. You might be able to get some funding from state voc rehab depending on your state. Also, if your stroke was someone else’s fault, you might be able to get money from a settlement.

The easiest door trick is a shoestring or any kind of thin rope.. You tie it around the doorknob and tie a handle at the other end of the string!
