My second baby had a very large head and it made for a fast and intense active labor but as long as your pelvic measurements are adequate. You should be fine. Would encourage you to request a side lying position to deliver in. I had n ok stitches after his delivery

Exactly what I needed to hear 💛 I hadn’t even thought of side lying (but I’ll be trying it for sure now!!!) Hope you have the lovely weekend that you deserve!

My baby was measured all kinds of stuff, his leg measurements were all over the place, from 5th to 65th percentile 😵 His head super broad, but then the head circumference small, which does't make sense to me... At some point I stopped paying attention to the measurements. Turns out, he came out normal, 50,5 cm at 39 weeks, 3 kilos, healthy. Only with the weight they were pretty on the spot shorty before birth.
Also, I've heard that only 44% of estimated big babies are really born big, the rest was incorrectly assessed.

I’ve been hearing that about ultrasounds!! Honestly my mantra at this point is if my body know how to grow this baby, my body will know how to birth this baby ❤️ super comforting to hear! As helpful as doctors are, I often find mamas who have gone through it have the best wisdom
