Hyundai i10 starting issue - solution

- We've had some intermittent starting issues with our Hyundai i10 in which it almost seems like the starter motor is on its way out , however after some research online we've found that I may have been down to a dodgy connection for the starter motor, screw,we unplugged the multi plug for the antenna and just tweaked the connecters and plugged back in and voilà problem looks to have been sorted!
I had bought a used car ( Hyundai I10 ) from a guy in FB and after a couple of days it won't start. One mechanic checked the car and told me that the engine is dead and need to replace the engine. I just did what you told in this video. My car started and now it runs without any issues. Thanks a lot 🥰. Very useful video. May God bless you🙏.

God bless you man! I had bought a used car and this issue showed up a week after. Found the connector that you mention in the video and I actually cut the wires and soldered them directly and never had the same issue again. You really saved me. THANK YOU

My only wish was that you had someone else holding the phone so we could see everything all the time. Am having this issue and have already called someone to look at it but this is good to know!
This has put me off buying an i10. I was going to get one but I don't really want the hassle of this problem. Thank you for highlighting it.
Absolutely perfect. I've suffered with a difficult to start i10 for years. It just got so bad (could take 20min to start) that I searched online and found this. Now I get the car/key logo everytime with a perfect immediate start. Had no idea it could be an immobiliser issue as the engine turned over. Thank you.

Thanks a lot sir! It was definitely indicated by the flashing 'car and key' sign in my case, and now after cleanup the sign stays on consistently.

Same problem on my getz. I cut the connector out and soldered the wires. Totally fixed the problem.

I literally just got a second hand one yesterday and having this issue
Having problems finding the left and right screws? They're facing you when you're in the driver seat, at the top of the bottom part of the cowling. Turn the wheel ~270 degrees to get access with a screwdriver!
भईया एक हेल्प चाहिए, 3 दिन पहले मेरी गाड़ी i10 olg with 2008 बाढ़ के पानी मे पूरी की पूरी डूबी हुई थी इसे 1 दिन बाद निकाला गया इसमें क्या क्या प्रॉब्लम आया होगा कोई अंदाजन बता सकते हैं क्या, लगभग कितना खर्च बैठ सकता है।।

Very common issue. Chop that plug out and solder join wires for a main dealer permanent fix
Spray some contact cleaner on the connection.
I tried this solution and it worked for 2 days then back to intermittent starts
