Yeah... 😢 this is the kind of stuff what I was really missing from this version. This version was my first favourite, but seeing the 2019 version made me realise how little these guys felt like brothers and more like ninja team members and friends to each other. They are really more distant from each other here in this version, and I only recently realised how much I missed wholesome and emotional moments like this from their plot. 😭
Just this whole talking here - Mikey doesn't believe he's welcome in Donnie's room, his almost teary response when Don asks him if he wants a hug; I mean, THEY LOST THEIR FATHER A WEEK AGO, AND HE FEELS LIKE HE NEEDS PERMISSION TO HUG HIS BROTHERS? And Donnie is probably the one to hit him the least amount. 😭
And his whole thinking about his dad - I can't! 😭 They seriously need to talk and become more emotionally close to each other, they can't stay distant like this!
God, this show broke my heart so many times, along with the fact that the most wholesome family version of the turtles is in the other series! 😭😭😭
Just please heal these emotionally stunted boys! 💔😢😭

I think that too.
Everytime when I watched the TMNT 2012 series they always treads him like a dum idiot (who ruined every thing) even if he makes good advices in some situation.
And didn't see the good things on him.
Who made the comics her had good made good work to show how this woul realationship for Mike is with his "family" looks from the outside to every one.
