Only problem with letting your goalie save your shots is it let in a lot of shots that you would never normally let in leaky shots, soft shots bouncing off the pads, your own defense, scoring on you etc. etc.
The flying poke check aka the aggressive a-hole is the goat move. 🐐
I use instincts control in EASHL and the goalie is much better when you can predict where their shot is coming from with his vision and instincts

Total bs to commit to one side. Read the player and commit on the side you think the player is shooting, dont give free goals😅
