This is the song during my Best Man, Cousin and Only Childhood friends funeral, it is playing while i am witnessing that he is being carried out of our home unto the chariot. He is one of the kindest person i ever know, its been 7 months since he died, 3 days after his birthday. Can i ask for some prayer for him, his name is Jamese Francis T. Dionio. The Breadwinner of his family, and our supposed to be future priest. :(

Their debut album "Strike Whilst the Iron is Hot" was a masterpiece. Macoy Fundales and Clem Castro,
these guys wrote and composed fantastic songs. Those were the days.
Ang debut album nila yung "Love in the Love of Rubbershoes and Dirty Ice Cream" na nilabas noong 2003 at nirecord nila ulit noong 2018. Pangalawang album na ang "Strike Whilst the Iron is Hot."

Around 13 years ago, my college friends and I mistakenly played this in videoke. We were supposed to pick the Heaven Knows by Rick Price. That’s when I first learned about this song. Fast forward to 2022, a special person in my life told me he dedicated this song for me back when we had a time apart. 2023, officially, we ended things and whenever I miss him, I would play this song. Whenever I think he didn’t love me enough and get sad about it, this song would remind me how maybe letting me go was hard for him, too just as it was hard for me.
This song has a really special place in my heart.

I want to interpret this as an individual's point of view, a person struggling, a person who's mentally not stable, a person who lost his/her self.
When there are times when they are just lying in their beds-crying, trying to stop it by covering their faces with hands that is cold and shaking. That is, only heaven knew how tired they were.
The angel that has flown away is their "happy" self. It left them in a drunken misery. That maybe they want this thing to stay with them forever so that they won't be sad anymore.
But realistically speaking, no one will stay. Even yourself will leave you-not physically but emotionally, mentally and spiritually. "This angel of mine flown away from me, I set myself free, I freed my happy self because I love her and I don't want to tire her more. But I am now wondering if she will ever find her way back home to me.
