by "ex muslim" he means "ex extreme sufi" literally the worst group of people attributed to islam..there is good humble sufis that focus more on ibada and zohd and they don't like the dancing type.. but the extreme type are the type of ''wahdat al wujud" and fans of ibn Arabi that many are trying to reinvigorate his kufr without tellling the masses what was he actually about and what were his views.
He is not a liar but just in denial. He is struggling to accept the Truth, but from his demeanor I think he knows his arguments are weak. It seems to me that he will eventually surrender.

Attributes of Allah being ultimate source we humans develop some within ourselves. Like being kind and merciful to another being or creature. Same goes for love. We r also creators inventing things. Of course none of it being the ultimate source like the Creator. The more we develop these attributes within ourselves getting us closer to Allah. Humans sinning as the Prophet pbuh said every child of Adam will sin and repentance being the 🔑 for Allah’s forgiveness with Allah’s mercy superseding Allah’s wrath. Allah loves his repenting servants as Allah loves to forgive showing mercy. Period!
When he was arguing about consent you should've read him Surah Al-A'raf verse 172:

For anyone who struggles with the question, why was I created when I had no choice in the matter, like the man in the video, and like how I was, the answer is in the following verse:
"And ˹remember˺ when your Lord brought forth from the loins of the children of Adam their descendants and had them testify regarding themselves. ˹Allah asked,˺ “Am I not your Lord?” They replied, “Yes, You are! We testify.” ˹He cautioned,˺ “Now you have no right to say on Judgment Day, ‘We were not aware of this.’" Quran (7:172)
Before Adam was sent to earth, God (Allah) created all humanity and made them testify that he is their creator, and we agreed and choose the test of life. We don't remember the event taking place because it's part of our test, but we will remember our pact with God (Allah) on judgement day, and no excuses can be made at that time.

Point 1: First establish whether God exists or not. Once God's existence is established, then all these questions why God created us why God did this or that becomes irrelevant.
Point 2: If someone throws you into a River full of Crocodiles 🐊, you will first try hard to swim out of the river. Now imagine instead of swimming hard, you are arguing "Who threw me into the river? Why did he/she throw me?" and by that time crocodiles 🐊 catch you and eat you.
With the above example, we can learn the question why God created us and put us in this test does not change the reality that we have to face the consequences on the day of judgement if we do not obey Him.
No matter how much you cry, the reality is the entity that created us is all powerful and does not need permission from anyone why He is doing or has done or will do something. You have no choice but to follow his guidance. And by following his guidance you will be blessed with eternal paradise. Once you go there, you will never ask this question why God created you.

Jesus was accused of blasphemy by Juws and what was the crime according to them that "Jesus is claiming to be God". Which means when people worship Jesus they are pretty much confirming Juws were right and that it was a correct punishment to be put on cross. The word in bible which is translated as worship is actually "proskuneo" which can mean kissing hands, prostrating like a Knight to his king or worship. If jesus is not God, they were not worshipping jesus.

The Qadiyanis are not Muslims becouse they go against the Qur'an and Sunnah. Akhil 'Azeez, do not take examples like "the Mormons are not Christians becouse the other sects do not consider them to be Christians". The man is very confused, you are making him more confused. He would think, "well, everyone is making a claim" ...! However, that is not the case for the Muslims, we know who is upon the straight path and who is not, unlike the Jews and the Christians.
Allah says, *And from those who call themselves Christians, We took their covenant* ..) Ibn kathir: Meaning: From those who call themselves Christians and followers of `Isa, son of Maryam, while in fact they are not as they claim. We took from them the covenant and pledges that they would follow the Prophet, aid him, honor him and follow his footsteps. And that they would believe in every Prophet whom Allah sends to the people of the earth. They imitated the Jews and broke the promises and the pledges. This is why Allah said,
*But they have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. So We planted amongst them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection* ...Ibn kathir: Meaning: We planted enmity and hatred between them, and they will remain like this until the Day of Resurrection.
Indeed, the numerous Christian sects have always been enemies and adversaries of each other, accusing each other of heresy and cursing each other. Each sect among them excommunicates the other sects and does not allow them entrance to their places of worship. The Monarchist sect accuses the Jacobite sect of heresy, and such is the case with the Nestorians and the Arians and so on. Each sect among them will continue to accuse the other of disbelief and heresy in this life and on the Day when the Witnesses will come forth. Allah then said,
وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ
( *and Allah will inform them of what they used to do* ..) warning and threatening the Christians because of their lies against Allah and His Messenger and their false claims about Allah, hallowed be He above what they say about Him. The Christians attribute a companion and a son to Allah, while He is the One and Only, the All-Sufficient, Who neither begets nor was He begotten, and there is none like unto Him. End quote.

Very simply, this Christian gentleman is talking and explaining wearing the Christian lens clearly. The words he is using and how he is using it. So evident.
He need to read the Glorious Quran with an open mind and no preconceived ideas and ask Allah for guidance.

Of Chris. I'm not a Christian, and he has clealry made up his own bersion of Christianity. But his metaphor made sense. But Hashim can't accept it because it goes against the Muslim concept.
All these discussions are basically in the realm of philosophy. Neither side can objectively prove anything about something that exist outside the universe.

His argument about God being responsible for someone doing evil because he created the person knowing he would do evil.
And he used the metaphor of him having children who would do evil, knowing they would end up doing evil.
Obviously humans aren't "all knowing" but that's not the actual point of the metaphor. It's obviously a hypothetical. If you could actually predict the future, and you knew your child would be the next Hitler, if you still have a child....you obviously share some responsibility.
