CFPB Field Hearing in the Twin Cities

On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 10:00 am CDT (11:00 am EDT), join the CFPB for a field hearing on contract for deed financing at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul Campus.
Members of the public will hear from CFPB Director Rohit Chopra; state and local elected leaders; and legal, advocacy, and policy experts, who will discuss some of the challenges consumers are experiencing with contract for deed and other forms of alternative financing.
We also invite members of the public to offer comments and share their experiences with financial products and services because your stories help inform our work.
