- They finally did it!
The incredible synth-smiths from the Czech Republic at Bastl Instruments have outdone themselves again - the Bastl Kastle Arp is as great as all other Kastles, but invites you to make very melodic and generative sounds.
I love just plugging it into some rudimentary rhythm machine and drowning it in reverb. it's so soothing and beautiful, it can sound buttery and bell-like. (and, of course, a bit harsh, its a bastl ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ )
I hope i can get my hands on a Softpop2, it looks also reeeeally great.
They make devices that are fun, not overpriced, take up little space and are simply "different" - something more manufacturers could do (yes, I'm looking mad at you, teenage engineering) - Hudba
the legend is back! just as i start using my po33 again. very cool stuff!

Unfortunately, I don't know how I can describe it to you better than to look very carefully at where each cable goes, there are a few closeups in the video that may help to nail the exact direction where what cable goes - i also used different colors on the cables, so this might help too :/
- to do this, pause the video at an appropriate point. it is of course important to pay attention to the setting of the knobs - subtle changes can make a big difference to the sound on those little machines.
