I have major reservations about this brand and that scarfs value is beyond inflated. I agree with letting the new owners have a shot to an extent but I’m not impressed here when it comes to real value. I’m still reserving judgement on the brand. Just about all of these are old products and I have several of them. The throw is VERY thin, like gauze. Weekender canvas tote is outstanding. Vadam is my go-to brand for tea. The blue pan is very nice.
I’m a little confused that the scarf option is in the Spring box. I would expect it to be in a Fall box based on the colors. Also the choice of the candle. Again, with the scent/name of Autumn Sunset, this is also one that I would expect to be in a Fall box. But that’s just my take on it. Since these are both options, I know that you don’t have to pick either of them. 🦋
My mom has subscribed to this box since it was Causebox. She survived the fiasco by not canceling her subscription and not trying to get a refund. She has received everything she was owed. In previous boxes she has received the: frying pan, tote bag, crinkle blanket, waffle cloths, candle, woven tray, neck cream, nail kit, gel socks, baking mats and silicone lids. She has been happy with the items she received. Too bad the current owners can’t start fresh with a new name. Alltrue has left very negative feelings for many people.
I am happy for your mom, I am one that lost out along with the companies that backed this company. I am not one that will give them a second chance. Sorry.
Wow so many repeats! But if anyone is getting the box my husband is still using that bag all of the time. It’s still holding up to the abuse 😆. So that says something to the quality of that vendor.
I love that travel bag. It’s interesting reading these comments. Having worked in marketing for years, I’m kind of surprised the new owners didn’t change the name (maybe they did?). Then again, the CZcams sleuths would have figured out it was “that” company with a name change. Good for you giving the current owners a chance. Sadly the name has been tarnished by the decisions of previous owners.
I am so hopeful that the new owners can make up for the losses suffered from vendors and their subscribers. I’ll be watching because if they fix things this could be a great box!!
All of the previous vendors from 3 years ago had to file a claim to be compensated. And if they did, they have all been settled. I don't have exact details for each brand, but there was a settlement for any that applied.
This is a lot of old product. I haven’t had cause of/alltrue in years and I have 5 of those products from them. The towel set I’ve had for years at this point.

Everyone has to start with the 'welcome' box before getting the regular curation. So you start with spring welcome and then you will get the actual Summer box and so on. The regular curations have a lot of different items in them. 🙂 Hope that helps!

Even though they are on their third owner and things are supposedly different... That's what the second owner told us, too. I just don't see how this company is ever going to be successful again with how many people got burned. They should have changed the name of the company because there's a big chunk of us that will never support them again no matter who the owners are. Cute stuff though! But yeah that's a hard pass for me.

Right?! Haha I was like uhhhh okayyy. I think I must have struck a nerve. Most of the time I just get comments, never had an email before. But that's cool that you have a podcast!! I always thought that looks like such a chill job. You could be all comfy and wear whatever. hahaha
The first company was a mess, yes. However like I mentioned in the previous video I made. This is under all new ownership now. Beachly bought the business at auction and all of the inventory. All vendors were able to file a claim and receive their money back when it was sold the first time. Beachly is the third owner of Alltrue now and they have their own box. Existing members are not receiving repeat products. This box that I am showing in this video is a WELCOME box. It's an intro in to AllTrue and because its only for new members, it would not be repeat products either. I just personally don't think its fair to punish the current owners for what somebody else did 3 years ago. So I am choosing to remain optimistic and see what they do going forward. I think they would have been smarter in changing the box name because then no one would have even noticed. But who knows, maybe they will still do that. Just have to see I guess.

This box has gotten so much better in my opinion, pretty good items in this season. Ive been thinking about giving this box a try.

I was a member a few years ago and got that same carry on bag and the waffle rags with holder. The bag is my favorite and still have it!

I would never support this company. They stole money from to many people and vendors. They are still doing old repeat items. Do not support.
