Thanks for all your work. I'm also one of the people you have helped in desperate times. Your work actually gave me the courage to keep searching for alternatives in my life, to keep on when I felt lost. I can now say that your films inspired my path and helped me to become the person I am today. In the last three years I started studying Agroecology and Permaculture, and it really changed my views about life as a biologist. Now, after a long journey in south america where I visited many projects, I am back home (in Mexico) working on a farm and trying to improve the land through good practices. I feel that there is a long path ahead and I am so thankful to you for continiously bringing inspiring stories to everybody on this path.

Thank you 🙏 for the Happen Films - they changed my life and what I do. Introducing me to Mattias introduced me to his films and Stephen Jenkinson. My 89 year father is unwell , listening to Stephen has changed my attitude to death. I can’t thank you enough .

Loved this video so much and wanted to share with You that you changed my life completely. It was in 2017 when as a single mum of a 2-year-old, working crazy hours in the UK to provide for us I was feeling drained and could see that what I was doing was not sustainable and absolutely not good for our bond with my little girl. I brainwashed myself with your videos as well as lots of creative voluntary simplicity content so that I grow some balls and act. I was brave enough to pack up and now we live in a tiny flat in Latvia but manage a massive garden where although not fully self sufficient but fully content and relaxed and rewarded and together. When on auto-pilot and operating from the programming you receive from the system, your parents, etc. you just need wake up calls and hit rock bottom and receive inspiration to stand back up on your feet and make life a beautiful success story and create abundance in all the things that actually matter. Your videos contributed to my journey massively and I wish you lots and lots of success with all what you're doing. You have a calling and I am grateful you're busy creating and getting the message spread. Lots of love from Latvia :)

I'm so glad I just found Happen Films! I was feeling a bit down, feeling restless/useless in quarantine times, and looking up farming videos because that's how I want to live. Transitioning from urban corporate job to a life in service of the living world. Very excited to explore both of your work in the coming days. Thank you!

I love what Antoinette said about having an attitude shift. I can't afford organic milk, but I still want to work towards a better world.

You guys need to continue doing what you love in such an inspiring way❤️ your films are my anchor, like many other people, for staying positive. My boyfriend and I also have a documentary project simmering in our heads... I’m really passionate about ecovillages and community living, so we would like to travel the world, working and filming in several different communities, while traveling by van and sailing for getting to new continents. We would learn so many things and make ecovillages more known! Makes me feeling encouraged when you said that you did your first film without knowing what you were doing and it still turned out well hehe gives me hope for my project ;) also nice to see a film maker who is not a native english speaker, like us (we are from quebec, canada), because even if our english is good, it is still not our mothertongue. ALSO we would also really like to sail to new zealand! My boyfriend went when he was younger and felt like home... a dream for me! anyways thank you again for your amazing content, keep going and stay grounded! 🙏✨

One could sail to Sweden or conversely sail to Kiwi land. I see people doing long sailing trips quite often on youtube. Just a thought.

At 1:09:25 Jordan speaks about how Happen Films mission is really to find ways of reconnecting with nature. I would like to mention that there is a movement called the Nature Connection movement which shares that goal and has been on that journey for about 40 years now. The originators are from the United States but they were mentored by indigenous people from all around the world. They developed a social model called the 8 Shields model, which itself is based on the patterns of nature; and it is a methodology or social construct that helps people reconnect with nature in the quickest and most reliable way.
Here is a talk by Jon Young, one of the founders. In this talk he goes into some amazing storytelling that shows what this work can do for humans and their connection with the rest of nature.

Antoinette or Jordan, if your focus is going to be on Reconnection for a while then 8 Shields could be a good pond to fish in. Or field to forage in... ^_^
I have amazing connections in New Zealand if you are interested. In fact I believe there is a Nature Connection mentor/activist living very close to Christchurch.

If you want to reach 'the people', you need to make films for the people. Your movies are for the hippie-left wing- already converted types. As a right-wing environmentalist..I find a lot of your stuff really cringeworthy but still struggle through it. I don't know what the right video would look like but your stuff is tailor made for people like you guys..not normal people.
