Awesome narrative, I really liked the subtle touches, a skater drops into a mysterious garden, a helmet falls to him in a moment of danger, the guys that shake and walk away mechanically, and he submerges into a different world in the end. Great!
Im thinking of getting a tan tien deck, randal trucks, and orange tange wheels. Hows that sound? Im mainly into carving, cruising, and when i get better i would like to start using my gloves to slide. Hows this sound?
Would you recommend a Loaded Tan Tien for a beginer? Im about 5'10 and weigh about 200-210. And so i was wondering if something like this would be worth the money or if i should go with something like the pintail 43 or 46?
any tips for stand up slides. i feel like i'm pushing the board really hard but i'm not sliding more than a 90. i feel like the wheels are holding me back but his seem to slide like butter. i've tried to fully commit with a big shoulder turn. is there a secret i'm just not getting ? any help or tips ? thanks ~DK
@skatedivona haha, i know what you mean, IMO, the dervish is THE all around board. If it were cheaper, i'd recommend it to anyone who starts to longboard. And now comes the Tan Tien. A new energetic version i guess. Kinda like a mixup between the cheviche and the dervish i guess. Notice the nose and tail, they are not flat like the dervish. correct me if i'm wrong but i thinks there's a slight camber in the middble of the board. That might be a problem for dancing?
great riding, filming, editing. the one footers back to back was awesome. I would like to see a video that shows the special features of the tan tien though because all the videos so far make it look like another dervish. you know kickflip, at least an ollie
@AnaestheticGas the tan tien is a slightly stiffer, three or so inches shorter dervish with tails, but both can do what you want, but the dervish is a bit better for carving while the tan tien will stand up to more skateboard-like tricks hope this helps
@hockeyman1096 if youre planning on progressing and eventually doing tricks then go for the tan tien. if you get a pintail, you wont have that option later on and you will have to buy a different board. but, if youre just planning on cruising then go for the pintail
Yo ! Im a new rider and i just get my tan tien 3 ago i just wanted to know if the flex was important for making slides like the man does in the video ?? Ive Got a Flex 1 and im 80kg Enjoy the ride people !!
you have no idea how much i want this board, its soo sexy especially with the adam colton trucks, looks like such a nice board to ride, might sell my dervish for it
So are those paris's 150's or 180's I just got this board and i have it set up with 150's but the web site say's to use 180's Those really look like 150's tho
im retiring my VERY flexy apex 37, and weigh about 150. I do 100% freestyle, tiger claws, fliptricks, that sort of thing. Flex 1 or Flex 2???? I thought 2 until i heard this board is far more stiff than the Dervish. (Hobbohero)help.
what flex is that? i just ordered a dervish over this because it looked just as stiff as my other boards.... but this looked pretty flexy when it needs to be. rider weight? great video! very creative.
@117asperches really flexible decks are great, but its sketchy landing on them because (on mine at least) im always worried about it hitting the ground, but theyre great for carving and sliding
@dotstudio1 Gracias! Después de informarme un poco más, me he decantado por la tan tien... La idea de poder hacer olies sin perder la esencia de un long me gusta muchísimo! Ahora toca ahorrar! PD: Si eres de Barcelona, sabes donde está grabado el vídeo?
@longboardedmate dervish for sure, ive got both and i prefer the dervishes ability to remain stable at speed and i feel like its got a livelier flex. that said, if u want a board simply for tricks (shuvits and early grabs etc.) pick up the tan tien as it's better suited for that style of riding
@invAZNz theres camber in my dervish too. not that much though. and its flexy so it flattens out and dampens over time. idk how much the tantien has but i know it has some. and your not gonna be able to do much more than a cross step on the tan tein. if you want a dancing board get the dancer or dervish... id get the tantien but i have a dervish and im saving for a dancer... right now theres nothing i want more than that :D
God! My parents has bought me a flex 3 board and i weigh 123 pounds, i will probably break it in half when i do tricks! Please help me, they dont want to leave it in for a flex 2!! What am i supposed to do!? Do i need a flex 2 or will the flex 3 work!? Will it break in two pieces?
@cam7459 seriously you should consider looking for rayne longboards if you wish to eventually go for slides, especially the nemesis. And believe me, I have a loaded tan tien, with randal trucks and orangatang wheels. Also, orangatang wheels are good, predictable wheels but, they wear down really easily and are really expensive. I'm not saying the loaded tan tien is not a good idea, i mean I bought one and it's a really fun beginner board.Perfect setup,nemesis,abec11 freerides,randal/bear trucks

Awesome video! I love the entrance from above at the beginning, to the exit below in the end. Looks like a fun little place to skate... Much love

WOW! Gotta give you props on that hippie jump over those guys holding hands. Madd high
what is a good longboard for a beginner who want to cruise and slide with it ? .... pls answer
looks far flexier than i thought. great video!
sick keep the good tricks comming!
Im thinking of getting a tan tien deck, randal trucks, and orange tange wheels. Hows that sound? Im mainly into carving, cruising, and when i get better i would like to start using my gloves to slide. Hows this sound?
how similar are this and the dervish? and which of these boards is better at carving/bombing/tricks/commuting?
thanks in advance
I got 75mm 83a orangatang wheels on my tan tien.... are they too big and hard to do good slides?
Would you recommend a Loaded Tan Tien for a beginer? Im about 5'10 and weigh about 200-210. And so i was wondering if something like this would be worth the money or if i should go with something like the pintail 43 or 46?
sick barcelona has epic legendary skate spots it must be fun to take that new board there!
do you think the flex 3 tan tien 80-170 would be good for downhill i weigh about 100 pounds
Dude this is the exact setup that I want for my birthday
Im hoping to get this board this week! so exited ;)
what are better stims yellow or purple
???

do u think this board would work with gullwing sidewinder trucks with double kingpins
great riding, filming, editing. the one footers back to back was awesome. I would like to see a video that shows the special features of the tan tien though because all the videos so far make it look like another dervish. you know kickflip, at least an ollie
how did you change the grip tape?
@AnaestheticGas the tan tien is a slightly stiffer, three or so inches shorter dervish with tails, but both can do what you want, but the dervish is a bit better for carving while the tan tien will stand up to more skateboard-like tricks

Muy bueno el video, rider, montaje y trucos! genial! no había podido ver el vídeo en lokosurfteam en vimeo, al fin he podido!
Is the tan tien a good board for sliding & free-ride?
@hockeyman1096 if youre planning on progressing and eventually doing tricks then go for the tan tien. if you get a pintail, you wont have that option later on and you will have to buy a different board. but, if youre just planning on cruising then go for the pintail
what trucks and what wheels do you have? please respond
@jjjabberjaws
I like how they put the grip on it, but for aesthetics, they should put on option for the same non-spray stuff but clear.
Hey! Where exaclty in barcelona it this? It seems like a good place to longboard on... Please answer if someone knows! =)
I have this exact set up on my tan tien. I luv it! :) kewl vid
@stinkoman1212 what wheels do you ride?
Yo !
Im a new rider and i just get my tan tien 3 ago i just wanted to know if the flex was important for making slides like the man does in the video ??
Ive Got a Flex 1 and im 80kg
Enjoy the ride people !!

So are those paris's 150's or 180's
I just got this board and i have it set up with 150's but the web site say's to use 180's

@137brad says it at the end of the video they are paris adam colton signature series 180mm trucks and they are orangatang stimulus 70mm 86a wheels
@invAZNz
theres camber in my dervish too. not that much though. and its flexy so it flattens out and dampens over time. idk how much the tantien has but i know it has some. and your not gonna be able to do much more than a cross step on the tan tein. if you want a dancing board get the dancer or dervish... id get the tantien but i have a dervish and im saving for a dancer... right now theres nothing i want more than that :D

How did it feel getting deep into that manhole with your hard deck?
haha i like the ending!!!
man, i wished the video would go on in the canalization
Arnt the Adam Colton trucks specifically non drop through board trucks
@TheSystemZx The deck will not snap but it will probably touch the ground if you jump on it...

God! My parents has bought me a flex 3 board and i weigh 123 pounds, i will probably break it in half when i do tricks! Please help me, they dont want to leave it in for a flex 2!! What am i supposed to do!?
