Gold King Mine, Big Bertha!

We visited Gold King Mine in Jerome, Az. a couple of years ago(just came across the videos). It was a very cool place that any gear head(or not) would find very fun to wander around and explore. They have Big Bertha there($20 to fire it up). It's an old gas generator and from what I remember it was used in the 1950s and ran 24 hours a day to power a mine in Bagdad, Az. The owner of Gold King Mine purchased it and rebuilt it to what it is today. Definitely worth the visit.
