    yes Benzema didn’t mean to foul him but he touched the keeper leg instead of the ball .. for me it is a clear foul. many times the keeper does not mean to tackle the striker .. but he touch striker legs instead of the ball, of course it is a penalty….

      I've seen referee check var before confirming a goal even when there's no protest for potential foul or offsides. Why did the referee have to give a yellow to Donarumma protesting instead of checking VAR? There were error refereeing on both sides. Like at the first half when Mbappe was fouled intentionally to stop his run and when Psg players stepped on Vinicius jr. There were many fouls that were unnoticed but when its a foul that leads to a goal it needs checking. Poor refreeing on both sides but it cost PSG more.

    • @effeelle91
      @effeelle91 Před 2 lety +12

      @@bartoszduszczyk1 yeah, I try to explain since it's not just me but the great majority of AC Milan fans. Donnarumma was like a "child" for us, because we made him to debut at not even 17 y.o., and he was our first goalkeeper since that age. The club had done everything to satisfy his requests. When he was 18 y.o., he signed a contract of 6 mln / year, which was a record for a footballer of his age in Serie A. Moreover, the club agreed to engage his older brother (which was not even a professionist) and to give him 1 mln / year (basically paying Donnarumma at 18 y.o. already 7 mln). The player started to kiss the kit and the logo, and usual behaviors of these times, you know. Fans really loved him and publicly asked more times to let him become our captain for the future, as a symbol of AC Milan. Then, after 6 months, he asked for more money, and he continued at any transfer window. It was ridiculous since he was 19y.o. and had just signed the new contract. What fans do not forgive him is especially that he refused to sign a new contract and THEN being sold elsewhere, if he desired so, so that also the club would have received money from his transfer. Milan gained 0 € from Donnarumma transfer in a time when the player value was 100 mln €. Moreover, the player has always hidden himself behind his powerful manager, Mino Raiola. At June 2021, since Donnarumma continued to refuse an offer of 8 mln/year + bonus, which was crazy for the current Milan's budget, Milan signed Mike Maignan. At that point Donnarumma cried and publicly said that he did not want to left but Maldini called him to tell him that Milan had signed another goalkeeper, and thus that was Milan's fault. Milan replied that they signed another goalkeeper because Donnarumma was refusing all their offers. We are very happy is failing today.

    This was a very important champions league clash, Donnarunma as a professional goalkeeper should know the weight and importance of such a match. He had enough time to boot the ball away, and if he had done that the outcome of the match would have been different. But he felt a champions league knock out tie was the best place for a goalkeeper to show his foot and ball work against one of the best strikers in the world. 1) Donnaruma could simply send the ball for a corner and nullify the threat, which he didn't. So it was a very poor judgement from him.
    2) That was a foul, body to body contact with a defender is somewhat acceptable but body contact with goalkeeper is something else, period.
    3) I won't blame Benzema cause RMA was desperately looking for the equalizer.

    Benzama catches his leg first so there is no body to body. As far as I know you are not allowed use your body on an opponent in order to stop him from passing the ball but only to retrieve it for yourself. Still referees makes mistakes especially fotball referees and the referee is not to blame that the whole PSG falls apart while still being ahead when conceding a goal. The best team won.

    You see, body posture is important. If the keeper thought it was a foul, then just stay down and make a case.
    If he cannot determine if it’s a foul, then don’t keep the ball in the area and balloon it. It all comes down to experience. If you want to take a Mickey out of someone by playing it out, then you better be sure you have the technical expertise to do so.
    The referee should have blown, but The keeper has no one to blame but himself.
