My personal recommendation if I sent in a band would be Cyborg Octopus. They're a prog/deathcore band which isn't just heavy breakdowns, and they incorporate some different genres into the mix as well like funk, jazz, and western.
Please keep making these videos Nik! Exposure is so important for up and coming bands. Way to use your platform. 🤘🏻

So im from a small town in germany, here are a few Bands from my area: Motorjesus (heavy rock) , Cause For Confusion (Modern Metal), Ignition(Heavy Metal), Divine:Zero (Melodic Death Metal), Scornage(kinda-thrash metal/groovy af) ,Fjørt(Post Hardcore) , Never Back Down (HC/Metalcore) , Dedpool(kinda Groove Metal)
one band that I just stumbled upon recently is deathcore band We Are Perspectives. I was SHOCKED when I found out they only had 2k listeners
There’s a band with 52 monthly called Ivy The Roar, listened to their song “Money” goes pretty hard, disgusting vocals if I remember correctly. Artwork is pretty sick too

Ooh, I missed this, but highly recommend Neck of the Woods if you do a stream like this again. They're almost at 2,000 monthly listeners. They're a little Metalcore band from B.C. Canada. I love everything on their debut album "The Passenger".
If I had to choose one banger though, I would say listen to Face of the Villain

The vocalist of The Royal was actually one of the last vocalists running for new vocalist of Northlane. Still a great band. The Royal are probably gonna make a comeback. They've been quiet for a few years now.
I haven't watched the full video yet but I really hope Infestantibus is on here! They are absolutely incredible! I've been listening to them since they had only two monthly listeners (now they are at around 100)
You should check out the song it all goes dark by the midwest borealis. I found the artist from his kerbal space program videos on his channel N9 gaming, and I knew he made some music, but I was blown away when I heard this. Unfortunately, I dont think he has made any other metal songs yet

Dagon. Has 790 monthly listeners and have some absolute bangers. Its Amon Amarth but istead of Vikings its about Pirates.
absolute favorite band of mine is Xanthochroid, their songs have incredible story telling and amazing instrumentals, highly recommend
You should check out Seasons Awake, they're a deathcore band with two vocalists, two guitarists and a drummer but no bass player.

You need to check out Rise Of The Northstar Nik. Their style is known for melding heavy metal/hardcore punk/hip hop with Japanese pop culture
A great small Aussie death metal band is Nembutolik, especially their song Angel of Meth. They're also a band that is unbelievably good live

I don't even know if they're on Spotify, but y'all need to listen to Psychomancer . They're a death metal band from the late-90s from Michigan City, Indiana and are local legends. They put out 2 albums between 1998 and 2002 before breaking up, but they reformed and put out an album in 2018 on Bandcamp. Killer shit if you like that 90s sound.
