- The second edition of the Historic Minardi Day was full of great F1 cars, prototypes and GT racers of the past. Last year the event was held in order to celebrate the Minardi F1 team (after 10 years from its last F1 season) and all the iconic Formula and GT racecars that wrote the most important pages of the 35 years of the circuit.
Enjoy some great sounds on track!

I know everyone has their own favorite era and engine, but the wail of the V10 never gets old...
Seing so many F1 cars on the same track at the same time is beautiful ! Seing an old 80's F1 followed by a v10 powered 2000's one is priceless !

EXCELLENT CAMERA AND AUDIO WORK! Thanks for not zooming in and out on every camera shot like they do in the Formula One races. Love the static shots with the cars moving through the frame especially with the cars going away from the camera. You guys are bad dudes. Keep at it. Great work.

Minardi was as much as part pf Formula 1 as was Ferrari. Sad they are gone.
They haven't disappeared, they are bought out by RedBull and is called Toro Rosso now. Its still some of the same staff and team members from Minardi in the V10 era.

What F1 race cars are supposed to sound like. I remember going to my first F1 race at the "Brick Yard" while the F1 track at Indy is/was rather Meh the sound was glorious. I arrived late for the first day of open practice and could hear the cars well over two miles away and the closer I got to the track the louder the wail of the engines and once I entered the the grandstands of the track it was like a symphony of power never had I heard such a sound V10 screaming their banshee like wail. It made the hair on the back of my stand on end and me feel excited, anxious, kind of giddy, and euphoric inside and it made me want more

Damn, that Osella FA1E sounds great with that Alfa V12. It didn’t get any success in ‘83 or ‘84, but I think it’s a great looking/sounding car anyways.
