Rare Fishing Spot in a Massive 300ft deep Lake Quarry in Maryland!!

- In this bass fishing video I'm fishing in a 300 ft deep lake quarry. One of the best fishing spots in my area. I'm just curious to what kind of massive bass I can pull out of this clear green water!!
Thanks for posting this. I love bass fishing and did searches on bodies of water around my area. After seeing how the lake was made (old marble mining area turned lake), I always wondered if people could fish in there. I know there are always warning signs about jagged steep walls in old quarries and the depth is absurd (almost 500ft max for this one). I've dined at Citron, walked the paths and you're right, there's never anyone out there in the water from what I've personally seen. So definitely top secret in terms of low pressure private fishing areas. Looks beautiful and peaceful. 👍

Bro said he's 15 min away from Rocky Gorge Reservoir. Quarry Lake is not 15 min away from Rocky Gorge..
But I know a lake that's just a "stone's" throw away from Rocky Gorge--- and I'm willing to bet that's where this spot is.

In a Rock quarry you need to fish deep for the Big boys. You need a fish finder. Tight lines out there.
Sometimes it depends on the seasons. But I always catch my biggest bass on the edge of the lake where the bushes are around September-November

Where is the public access to this lake? I live near it but am not able to find any information on how to access it. Looking at a map, it is surrounded by private property.

LoL who uses a snap swivel on a frog? Or any Bass lure for that fact lol
I didn’t have a lot of fishing poles so it’s what I used at the time to switch the bait quickly. I caught my biggest bass using a snap swivel. If you only have one or two poles I recommend it because you can spend most of your time tying lures on and off and some people don’t have money for multiple fishing poles that do this but only do it for crank baits and frogs though. You gotta use what you got. Oh and get the small swivels because the lures won’t move right in the water if you use big ones. (Fishing on a budget) lol
