Acorn projects, caught my country twang when I said ORANGE and said man where you from... 🗣K.C... bruh he said aw nawh ( they took Dre we should take you... ) I told him bruh one of us gone die and one of us will never get out of jail again... my quick answer and real fact made him laugh at me..     Very 1st time I heard Mac Dre was after the LA riots. His album “What’s Really Going On” and the politicians in Cali were looking at banning it because he had a song called “Punk Police.” My cousin in Compton sent it to me & I had it until it was lost in Katrina. RIP Mac Dre…

    For those who don’t know, Mac Mall‘s first album was actually called illegal business, the song is called my opinion and the label he was on was Young black Brother records. This is the label he was signed to with Mac Dre (Mac in Peace) and even Tupac directed one of Mac Mall’s music videos. Yuk smoke too much to remember!! Lol 😂

    KC do have much love for Mac Dre and the bay, always have...both sides and you would never hear no one here say otherwise. I grew up listening to a majority of bay area artists if not all and Too Short, Dre, Luniz, Mac Mall and E-40 was some of the first I had in rotation out of all I listen to. I give my condolences to his family as well as the families of Tone and Cowboy...MD was a devastating loss to the bay I know but that was a loss here too cuz I loved his music as well as FT music. ✊🏾
