FACTS
This is probably the best fan trailer I’ve seen. Each movie and trilogy is perfectly balanced and represented. No random use of Rogue One or Solo either. This feels like it could easily be an official Skywalker saga trailer
Edit: I mean that as no insult to Rogue One and Solo. I just prefer Skywalker Saga trailers that are only the “episode” films.

Lord Venom Kinda weird how a “Star Wars fan” can look at the truly heroic ending to Luke’s hero’s journey and call it fan-fiction, but stay forever mad. The rest of the fandom is out here celebrating a series of movies we all love and cherish that critics have wrongly been calling a shell of its former self since 1983. Don’t fight what you hate. Save what you love.

Parker Davis Mark Hamill himself hates the new trilogy and rightfully so, they ruined Luke. At least for me. Also, it does feel like an out of place fan-fiction. Rise of Skywalker does look to be at least decent though. But none of the new trilogy movies are as good as the others, or even the clone wars tv show. Rey is one of the worst main characters I’ve ever seen in a popular franchise. I just hope the new Rise of the Skywalker movie can redeem the rest of the trilogy. All I want from it is decent choreography, good, deep, dynamic characters, and a fight scene where Disney actually figures out what a lightsaber is.
I’ve seen literally hundreds of these fan trailers. This is the best so far.

Dude, when the music hits it's pinnacle and the Millennium Falcon suddenly comes out of the forest leaving the screen white with snow, only to have Vader come out of the haze. 1:18 SICK. Beautifully done.

I felt the same! Especially that one shot of him as a young man, being that is the very moment Padme calls for Valorum’s removal. The very first seed of his becoming Emperor.
I looked at it and, even if there are a lot of battle and war scene, all I saw is how much Star Wars is about family, friendship and love in both a romantic and divine way. It's a soap opera in space as George Lucas said and it's so moving because the themes are universal. Certainly the best modern tale I ever seen. Your did a great work, it's amazing and you captured it so well! Thank you...

Claire Mallet there also seems to be the universal theme of fear, whether confronting it or being afraid.
Random thing noticed: that sequence where we go from Rey vs Kylo to Luke vs Vader to obiwan vs Anakin the common thing in those three fights is Anakin's lightsaber is present in all three fights

I watched RoS once, walked out, speechless.
Next week, I started marathoning the Skywalker Saga (all nine movies) and watched nine again in theaters after.
I have no clue what people are talking about with this “The Last Jedi ruined everything” nonsense. It really didn’t. Also, JJ Abrams co-directed TLJ and stated in an interview that nothing got thrown off. Every movie is a masterpiece, no matter how flawed. Star Wars is the definitive sci-fi story and it is the best saga ever

Almost cried. Starwars is such a sad trilogy and when I see that they show the little boy who became Vader, the senator who became the sixth, Luke who became a master to Rey. Its just sad
Sad to watch a loving and heroic person who cared so much about his friends be manipulated into a force of fear and destruction. Knowing that he can never be good again, until his son reminds him of who he once was.

Even Last Jedi has some phenomenal shots and moments. The narrative, in my opinion, isn’t nearly as great as the other movies, but I’m hoping Rise of Skywalker can redeem that

I love how this uses most of the clips from “The Rise Of Skywalker” trailers even when the movie hasn’t been released. I would love to see a remake of this next year after “The Rise Of Skywalker” is released on Digital/Blu-Ray

I was 3 yrs old when the very first Star Wars movie came out. I will forever remember that first moment of text, followed by the surprise of the opening theme song. I've based much of my philosophical and spiritual approach to life based on what I learned growing up with these movies. And through all the ups and downs of the saga over all these years, I know I'm a better person for having Star Wars in my life. This is an amazing piece of work you've put together. Well done. Wow! Just Wow! I remember walking out of my local cinema in 1983 as an eleven-year-old wondering if there would ever be any more Star Wars films. Then we got the trilogy prequels after a 22-year wait since Star Wars was released in 1977. And now we have the trilogy sequels which will bring the Skywalker saga to a close. Both sad and happy in equal measure, but this incredible trailer has brought all those memories flooding back and I want to thank you for that. You've made my day. 👍 😉

I loved this so much!! I’m a huge fan of the prequels because I grew up on them, (I appreciated the original 3 as well) and then I showed my father (a huge fan of the original trilogy) and my two much younger brothers (huge fans of the current sequels and have enjoyed the 6 previous titles) and we all just felt super moved by this video and how it connects 3 different generations of Star Wars fans. Great Job!!
