Ys VI has the most techno-ish soundtrack of the series and also one of the best.
It is such a unique Ys soundtrack.
Because of course you need to get into a trance to grind for emelas (and then levels!).
Man everything Ishibashi made is pure gold.
Or emel ;)
Or mira

I miss that guy, what a legacy he created!
Honestly one of the best dungeon themes this series has ever had
perhaps the best final dungeon track fro mthe Ys series? Not counting Ys Origin Beyond the Beginning which only plays in a part of the final dungeon of it's game.
jupiter jazz.....
Most lit dungeon theme.
the intro to this sounds really similar to Underwater Rampart from Battle Garegga
Both very likely inspired by Jupiter Jazz by Undergroud Resistence (BTW Underwater Rampart, same initials)
Was absolutely obsessed with this game and specifically this song many years ago. Remembered it randomly today and am in bliss.
Kishgal was also one of the enemies in Ys Origin.
It's probably my favorite part of Ys, seeing some names pop up again, and being like "Oh! Ooooh..." x)
And Toal's name appears in Ys II as an area like him
Well... I mean it's more like Ys Origin characters were named after names in other Ys games
@@Zephhi If you think of it chronologically, Ys Origin is set well before the events of Ys 1.
why is this music so nostalgic to me ive never even heard of this game before all i did was hear it in a super monkey ball rom hack
Amazing track, one of my favorites in the series
I´ve been listening to this music for over 2 hours now and guess what, I´m not tired... in fact, the more I listen to it the more addicted I get... Wataru Ishibashi is a genius!
I keep putting this on repeat.
This is the song that made me try this game. I heard it on some random guy’s stream, and I loved it so I gave the game a try. even though it kicks my ass routinely I think this game is a masterpiece
You mean Ludwig’s stream lol?
@@lavablock1637no?
@@lavablock1637 this comment was made over a month before luds stream bro 💀
@@shane658 damn I’m retarded 💀

@@auxcordlol swag 😎
This is fantastic.
Fantastic frontier ;) u prob dont know what i mean bc its a very small roblox game its also isanely good
That type of monster who makes Adol start flashing tho. XD
Reminds of Bomberman 64.
wow, that electric violine sounds really off in some parts ^^
Maybe its intentional.
Never gets old.
this song made it into Ludwig's Playlist !
WAIT WAIT WAIT why it's name Kishgal? he's from YS origin, how is he connected?
Never revealed
Sad
@@MonstroDoOlhoSo YS 9 is out now , there might be something to find out because I saw centipede boss in trailer that is the same in YS origin.
@@RockoEstalon That make sense because the ark architecture design in Origin and YS2 is almost the same as ark in YS 6
From what I understand, the idea is that the Clan of Darkness/the Darkling faction originated from the city of Kishgal as the group of people the Eldeen originally served.
@@GreenTengu97 It is a bit like having a Frenchman named François or an Eldeen named Eldeel.
I didnt mind grinding for 2 straight hours on nightmare to get enough for the last upgrades
The name reminds me of a certain halberd using bastard
This track is great, but I was also confused by how it seemed "out of tune"
So I transcribed it and used a tuner... well, the tuner kept fluctuating because of the background beats, but I can say for sure that this song has 6 flats. That's a very rare key signature, and does make sense why it sounds weird
I think the violin plays a little sharp as well, not sure on that though
